Reading that brought a big smile to my face
This and the we believe team were the two most likable teams in the last 16 years.

Yeah, there was something about this team, despite all the losing, that made me want to watch every game
I like to think seeing our d-league guys playing their hearts out every night was part of it.

Agreed
Sort of funny (in a weird way) that the We Believe team was created by adding Jax and the Golden State D-Leaguers came into existence by getting rid of him.

As much as I enjoyed the Golden State D-Leaguers this season, I sure hope it doesn't happen again

Well, considering our drafted guys were out injured....
Or if you mean Radmonovic :)

no - if you look at the stats
Wright, AR and Biedrins CAREER avgs are worse than the numbers put up by Reggie, Tolliver and Hunter numbers this season.
The d-leaguers rely less on athleticism and more on playing smart

Here are per36 numbers of BW, AR, Beans career vs Reggie, Tolliver, and Hunter this season.
Randolph 96 gp / 16.9 pts (.512 TS%) / 11.1 reb / 1.7 ast / 1.3 stl / 2.4 blk / 2.5 tov
Biedrins 351 gp / 12.1 pts (.603 TS%) / 12.2 reb / 1.6 ast / 1.0 stl / 1.9 blk / 1.7 tov
Wright 77 gp / 16.0 pts (.574 TS%) / 8.7 reb / 1.0 ast / 0.9 stl / 2.0 blk / 1.2 tov
Williams 24 gp / 16.8 pts (.588 TS%) / 5.1 reb / 3.0 ast / 1.0 stl / 0.3 blk / 1.3 tov
Tolliver 44 gp / 13.6 pts (.532 TS%) / 8.1 reb / 2.2 ast / 0.8 stl / 0.8 blk / 1.2 tov
Hunter 60 gp / 12.4 pts (.546 TS%) / 7.7 reb / 1.7 ast / 0.6 stl / 1.6 blk / 1.4 tov
Hard to really gauge Williams with this bunch since he is not a bigman, however, I do not see anything to suggest our d-league bunch clearly had better stats than the careers of our drafted guys. Though Randolph does need an offensive game like an alcoholic needs a six-pack.
