I have been thinking a lot and I think Monta would be best suited coming off the bench. He would be fresher and I think he could win us games with his scoring off the bench. He would definitely win sixth man of the year if healthy and would finally get the recignition he deserves. I think this year we have used him in overlkill and because of that people have used that as a reason he is not a great player. They think he only is good because he gets so many minutes. If we play him 30 minutes a game he could still average 22 pts and 4 assists. He could be an all star if he accepts the role because he will shine. The reason I think he will produce those stats is because he will be facing weaker defenses and will be able to capitalize on that. If Monta is going full speed on his drives he will be pretty unstoppable against opposing benches. Teams will have to make adjustments and pick between trying to stop Curry or Monta and one of them will beat them. Steph will improve because the ball will be in his hands more and he will be able to score more and pass more. We would have the best bench in the league. Imagine having to defend Monta Ellis and Corey Maggette off the bench. You put that duo in with a shooter and a good rebounding big, teams will have big problems. The Warriors would have a big edge against other teams and Nelly will capitalize on any advantage. The Dubs would wear teams out while staying fresh. This would help us in close games to. Down by a few points, just put Monta in and watch him go to work. Monta, Corey and Stephen carried the team this year. Monta and Maggette will be much more effective and efficient off the bench.
