Watching the playoffs, just shows me how..

far away the Warriors are from being a decent NBA team.

Dont get me wrong, the warriors are the funnest team to watch in the NBA. Just ask ur friend Alvin Gentry!

Phoenix coach Alvin Gentry was asked about the excitable Portland home crowd his team was about to face.

He praised their fervor. He acknowledged their reputation. But, in the end, he would not give them the unofficial title of best NBA city.

"I think Golden State is the best, to be honest," Gentry said

But however we do not have a decent core to build around. Sure we always talk about the "potential" of our young players. But honestly, in good NBA teams, they have much more veterans than rookies. Are whole team is rookies. And if they are not rookies they are 2nd or 3rd year players. Just look at our roster! > Golden State Warriors roster .

Monta Ellis, Stephen Curry is one of the few hope's that we have here in Oakland to continue Believing! What do you think?

Ok, really talking now! O.o

The warriors could easily be one of the good teams in the NBA. And come to think about it, I still dont understand why we traded the heart and soul of our team for an UNPROVEN rookie, (Brandon Wright). If we would have kept him and provided young talent around our Veterans to build around and expand their game on individually the rookies. We would have been a DANGEROUS team right now in the west.

But however all of the playoff teams right now, have a huge big-name superstar on them.

  1. West
  • Lakers-Kobe Bryant
  • Dallas- Dirk Nowitzki
  • Denver-Chauncey Billups, and Carmelo Anthony,
  • Oklahoma City- Kevin Durant
  • San Antonio- Enough said
  • Phoenix- Steve Nash, Amar'e Stoudemie, Jason Richardson
  • Portland- Brandon Roy
  • Utah- Deron Williams
  1. East
  • Cleveland- LeBron James
  • Chicago- Derrick Rose
  • Boston-Enough said
  • Miami- Dwayne Wade
  • Atlanta- Joe Smith, Josh Smith, Jamal Crawford
  • Milwaukee- Brandon Jennings
  • Orlando- Dwight Howard
  • Charlotte-Gerald Wallace, Stephen Jackson

*Bold is former Warriors Players.

And it is AMAZING how the warriors have no player like this, you very well could argue that they do, but they arn't as hungry to win and make it to the playoffs, the all just want to rattle statistics on their own.

Just based on these facts, what do you think the Warriors should do?

Oh and Larry Ellison, PLEASE HELP!
