The Warriors have the #6 pick in the 2010 NBA Draft. Here's some viable options for those still figuring out if Favors or Cousins will drop (They won't):
1.) Do the crazy thing: The Warriors Trade Up
I hate to say it, but in an extreme circumstance, it could be possible that the Warriors trade their pick and a package of players (possibly Ellis) for John Wall and the No. 1 pick.
2.) Do the logical thing: Pick up a big man and work around Ellis and Curry as your Top 2 guards. With Randolph at the 4.
Unless an Ellis trade in imminent, picking up a big-man who could pass and play alongside Biedrins and/or Anthony Randolph would be interesting, providing instant size and speed when we need it.
3.) Do the Don Nelson thing: Pick up another fast player without much beef, but can score (A,K.A. - Pray Wesley Johnson comes to us.
My favorite option is W. Johnson falls to us. The kid can flat out play, is extremely smooth, and would be a great support player to Ellis/Curry. Good 3 pt option, a plus defender, and loves to run the break. Comes from a NBA-ready system.
4.) Trade the pick away for an beefy NBA Veteran
Least likely, but can be an option if the Warriors get a good offer and want to win NOW.
Ouch... my head hurts. Another crapshoot?
