$4.6 million contract and can be waved for the cost of $500k.

Perhaps they are still hot for maggs?

The title made me think the cavs were trying to move to the western conference.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. It could be a bit more descriptive to say the least.

Cap relief

We can waive him and save money.

We would get rid of maggs contract...

I’d loveeeee the trade, especially since we could just waive him for 500k

It would guarantee us keeping Morrow too.

well, we'd need to take on someone else on the cavs team to make up the difference

I assume they would do trades that brings in people to keep Lebron around if he stays, not sure if Maggs fits that.

imo

Maggs is exactly what they need.

The huge issue I see with the Cavs is that they suck when Lebron is not on the floor (offensively).

Maggs would provide that instant offense they need when he is resting, and also rack up team fouls so Lebron will have an easier time when he is in.

Once they realize that they suck when Lebron isn’t in, or when he is playing poorly offensively, they should see that Maggette would be a perfect fit. Far better than Jamison.

maggs for west + parker + green

We waive west, green.

We sign Morrow.

We sign Bell.

We trade Ellis for Igudala and 12th pick (in 3 way trade involving OJ Mayo and Thabeet)

We trade 12th +6th pick + vladrad expiring for #4 pick + corey brewer.

We draft Favors or Cousins or Johnson.

We get Ellison as owner.

We succeed.

Lineup:
Curry – Williams
Buki – Bell/Brewer/Morrow
Iggy – Bell/Brewer/Morrow
AR – Wright – Turiaf
Andris – Cousins/Favors – Turiaf

This lineup would be able to spread the floor, defend, rebound, run.

In Sleepy’s trade, we’d have to give up our 6th pick to Memphis in order to get the 12th. Memphis is already giving up Mayo/Thabeet for Monta, I think we’d be pushing it if they included #12 just for the hell of it.

We trade 12th +6th pick + vladrad expiring for #4 pick + corey brewer.
Again, Love/Jefferson don’t play well together. If I’m not mistaken, they’d want to deal Love or Jefferson, so I doubt we’d get our hands on their 4th pick. Hopefully Love is obtainable. Brewer is improving too, so not sure if they want to include him just yet,

I GOT IT!!!!

Delonte did indeed have the affair with Lebron’s mom, so in attempts to lure James back to Cleavland, they are getting rid of Delonte West.

Hmmm, isn’t Delonte West a combo guard? We can really use one of those considering Monta/Morrow/Azubuike/Maggette don’t have good ball handling skills. Reggie does, but another ball handler couldn’t hurt. Hopefully we make some trades and trade half of our wing players.

Yeah he seems like a good role player on the Cavs. Don’t know why any of us would consider cutting him even though it saves money.

If we would trade for him

And he doesn’t fit in, he becomes a trade chip we can use. If he fits in, we win more games. Win-win if we can get rid of the maggs contract.
