I won't return to Europe

-- Former Golden State Warrior bust and current Toronto Raptors benchwarmer Marco Belinelli [Sportando]
Belinelli is right on schedule for my prediction that he won't be in the league beyond his rookie contract.

Re-Assessing the Belli-George Trade

Turned out to actually be a good trade for the W’s. I DO think Belli has the NBA skills to be a 10-12th man on the bench - sharp shooter as his only role.

Regarding the trade, most everyone thought George was just an expiring contract (and a tiny one at that)…but I for one thing George help turn the 2nd half of the season around. When this team got short handed and he came back from injury early to help out, he helped set a tone. Played some physical D, and showed heart. AND he can hit the 3.

Whereas it was generally assumed he would be done after his contract expired, I think now he returns to the W’s as a role player. Good locker room guy with some experience. And likely playing for the minimum.

Atma, just stop please. It’s tiring to hear your old attacks on mullin, belli, biedrins, wright, etc.
According to 82games.com Belinelli was the raptors 2nd most effective player. He wasn’t bad this year. Played good defense, got to the line more, and hit his outside shots. His ts% was decent, not something bad that a blogger for his former team needs to write how bad he is.

Stephen Curry is the future.

Could you not start off saying Warriors Bust and Raptor’s benchwarmer, Marco Belinelli? When you sink to low levels like this it is unprofessional.
At raptorsHQ they have been clamoring for him to get PT, and when he did (the majority of the season) the team was playing well. He got injured, lost his spot in the rotation, then the team started to suck. He was a good player for them this season. Check out 82games.com. He rates highly in all the metrics.

What???
Belinelli is right on schedule for my prediction that he won’t be in the league beyond his rookie contract.

He said he’s going to stay in the NBA and you go on and say you were right? You can’t read or something?

No, he just wants to sound right. His ego won’t let him get over some of his opinions.

Lol, ATMA.

Come on, he’s a ‘solid rotation’ guy.

Exactly my point. He’s no star, but he’s a good backup, and can start if you have injuries. Why take up time to prove this guy shouldn’t be in the league? Maybe your ego can’t take it? Thats what it seems like.
