LA Lakers claim trophy while Golden State Warriors claim entire state of California
Have you seen the new Golden State Warriors secondary logos?
The one with the W on top of the state of California pays homage to the old Warriors logo that has a star where the Bay Area is located on the map of the Golden State. However, now that the star has been omitted and replaced by a W smack dab in the middle, it's like the Warriors are claiming the whole state for themselves! Haha, David Stern let it pass thanks to the old logo! I must say, a shrewd move, Mr. Chris Cohan. Somewhere Larry Ellison is applauding.
Take that, Clippers, Kings, and -- oh yes, this is sweet -- Lakers!
There's also an alternate logo with the SF inside of the basketball. Is that a straight diss to Oakland or what?!
Well, last year I said it was more-so a dissage to the City for the hapless Warriors wearing the old San Francisco unis than it was to Oakland! But now with new ownership coming in and fresh branding, Oaktown has a legitimate gripe.

Dude, that’s not the whole state. It’s just from, like, Eureka to Santa Barbara. And East to Tahoe (annexing Reno and Carson City, but I doubt Nevada will even notice they’re missing).
Naturally, I voted “meh.” ;-)
There will be no extra point!

Haha, we should claim fandom for the whole damn country since we are Warriors and owned it all before the white, black, brown, and yellow men showed up?
Lights please, lights please, turn off the lights.

The Warriors played in San Francisco from 1962-71, so I can see how the backup logo of the backup logo has “SF” on it. It’s not a big deal if you ask me.

Not a fan of the number in the Logo on the front of the jersey. Hot though, I want to see what it looks like on the court. And what Wes looks like in them.

Bring back The City throwbacks!
Those are THE BEST FRICKEN JERSEYS EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Screw SF
Screw SF, they couldn’t support them when they had Wilt Chamberlin, why should the Oakland fans have to pay homage to SF they’ve never done anything but put Oakland down. Now Oakland has the greatest fans in the league and They are giving SF a piece of it, come on get serious.
You know that
Warriors fans don’t just come from Oakland, right?

There growing on me
When I get older, I will be stronger.
They’ll call me freedom, just like a Waving Flag
Really?
Is SF in the Golden State? Did the Warriors play there? Is the main logo the Oakland side of the bridge???
As an A’s fan growing up in the City, I got plenty of sh!t for rooting for them, and I always felt the Dubs were some sort of medium…
They are not Oakland’s team as much as they are the Bay’s, that being said, I love The Oracle… so I hope they stay, but I wouldn’t be too sad if they came to SF…
Blazers fan here
Those are sharp!! Hopefully they’re full time jerseys.
