Steinmetz: Warriors most likely to land Monroe.
About six hours ago, Steinmetz chatted that he would be surprised if the Udoh rumors was not a smokescreen.
On another note, while watching Monroe on tape, I noticed:
Monroe would either catch it at the block, high post or perimter or he'd pass it. My point? He likes to score from spots. I think his problem in the league will be that of unless he has a size and strength advantage to fight for position, Monroe may or may not be completely absent from games.
On defense, Monroe put his hands about as high as if he were receiving a pass. And Wellington Smith was guarding him. A year ago Wellington Smith guarded the 6-3, 185 Curry in the same Garden, Davidson vs. WVU. On top of that, he just disappeared in the clutch. It was the Big East championship game
Does that concern you?
Sure, an extremely small sample, but nonetheless is anyone else worried? The guy is as tough as the pink Care-bear.
