Where’s Don Nelson? Not at Warriors HQ for draft prep so far
Yeah its Kawakami, but sounds credible. Not sure I like Riley drafting, it seemed Nellie was the one who wanted Curry last season...

I'm pretty sure Riley would have taken Curry even if Nelson wasn't involved. Pretty easy choice at 7.
I don’t think it was an easy choice. We could have gone in a few other directions quite easily.

From what I have heard Riley is very strong
at talent evaluation and I personally feel very good about him having input in the pick.
Set a record by getting banned for the 8th time!
After rehab I saw the light and promise to be kinder and gentler!
Probation is a very slippery slope!
Can't go out like that
Nellie should be given a farewell season. As a Warrior, he deserves it. He rebuilt the franchise TWICE. Not his fault Rowell blew up the team this time around.
With only 1 year left on his deal + the top coaching prospects already having signed deals…the new ownership will be looking at leftovers by the time they take over the team.
Give Nellie his last year – show him some respect — and take a year to evaluate the team the just bought. THEN make a clean transition to a new Coach and GM.
If anything, replace Riley with a new GM and let him evaluate the team in Nellie’s swan song.
If anything, Nellie will be highly motivated to win and go out as best he can, putting as much distance between him and Pat Riley (coming back?) and Jerry Sloan.
Too many positive’s for keeping Nellie around. Dumping him and rashly hiring a new coach could be a very risky endeavor.
Brian Shaw? Really? That’s how a new owner would make a splash?!?! Might as well hire Brian Winter.
The guy I’d talk to is BILL LAIMBEER!

Keep him as an advisor
But I think he is not the right coach to rebuild.
He rebuilt the franchise TWICE.
and tore it up twice so he’s back to a big zero…

Riley seems to be from the Nellie school of smokescreens
So I don’t think we can take either for there word on players and assume, he’d go for best player available.
Less you forget Riley’s love of beef, a la Curry
