Having said that if the W’s were interested in him he would sign with us before the Lakers. We are hishome, he is a huge Warrior fan and he would get alot better chance of getting some burn with us then them. I’m just not 100% sold yet.

I haven't read the article yet

but I think Lin might prefer going to the Lakers than in Golden State.

He gets to play with a championship team, and can learn a lot from Derek Fisher. He would probably like the idea of playing for a HOF coach in Phil Jackson and it would be great to be competing for a championship his rookie year. He would be liked in LA as much as he’d be liked in the Bay Area, since LA has a lot of asians too.

With that said, I hope he goes to Golden State. I’ll admit, I want him here since I’m asian, but at the same time it’s not like he could hurt our cap space anyways. He can be had for cheap, help out with our depth, and help with selling tickets. I don’t think signing him would hurt us at all.

would you rather play on a world champion team with great players and winning coach or a rebuilding team with a nutcase coach if you were just starting out? A chance to break in on a well functioning team is worth moving out of mom’s garage for.
