I say yes!

Look at our front line as compared to the league average (sorry, I couldn't find the average weight):

Does Monta throw it off a little? Sure. But we have Williams coming off the bench for him. And besides, 3 inches is not an insurmountable difference in height, especially when you are as quick as Monta is.  The rest of our team, while not huge, is at least adequate size.

Are we not beefy enough?

Well, Pau is listed as roughly equivalent to Beans (7', 250 lbs., so 10 pounds on us) and even Bynum, who is, by all accounts huge, comes in at 7', 285 lbs. Yes, our guys might be a little on the trim side, but honestly, in the NBA I do not see a ton of games that are just about hammering the ball down on the block.

So we stick with our lineup, mostly as is. I am willing to see what happens. I say this is a pretty good starting 5.

Are we not good enough?

I do not think we need to try building to compete with the Elite teams (Lakers, Heat, Magic) because it will be a couple of years before anyone else will seriously challenge for the title. Instead, I think we need to be able to beat the other teams that are on the cusp (Jazz, Mavs, Suns, OKC, Portland, Spurs) and the up-and-comers (Kings, Clippers) . Eventually, yes, we need some elite / Superstar caliber talent to compete for the trophy, but for now I think we might be able to make it as an 8th seed if Jazz/Mavs/Suns/Spurs/Blazers fall off just a little bit. Winning some now will not just prove valuable experience for some of our young guys, it will make the Dubs an attractive FA destination. Also, it wouldn't hurt if Steph and Lee made super friendly with Danny Granger! You don't need to buy the guy a new car or anything...all I'm saying is to start to building bridges.
