Reggie Williams nickname
You know he's gotta have one...
Just re-watched this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3KL9mRus19o
We should call him No Diggity
***
I am very much looking forward to next season. Curry is gonna really spread his wings, and I'm excited to see how the backcourt looks when David Lee is a presence... It's a good sign that Lee is excited, and I'm hoping we can have another team to BELIEVE in.

Relax he’s in the RMTC: Reserve Mod Training Corps. It gives them something to do and keeps them out of trouble.
Only McCoven not to get one of his comments rec'd in the Post Game Thread after that Epic win over the Dodgers.

Oh yeah? Well I’m in the GCBF: Guerilla Chaos Blog Force! We’re trained to do things like post 150-word, run-on-sentence fanposts, discount the entire concept of “stats” or “analysis”, constantly propose ridiculously implausible trades with links to the ESPN trade machine, peppered with hyper-offensive grammatical errors and non-words, such as “also, too”, and “irregardless”.

I remember someone saying Ekpe looks like a morbid version of the tall guy in Boys II Men.

I’m excited to see how the backcourt looks when David Lee is a presence
David Lee could also greatly affect Andris Biedrins in a positive way. He’ll take pressure off of Biedrins, so hopefully Andris can start stepping it up now that he’s not by himself in the frontline. When the frontline of David Lee and Andris Biedrins is doing well, it makes the job easier for the backcourt and vice versa. It’ll be like a chain reaction of production.

Wright is better than Aminu and might always be better than him
Wright is a better defender, shooter, passer, ball handler, driver, etc. Aminu could end up being better, but I wouldn’t count on it happening very soon if at all. He’s just a rookie and Wright has been in the league for 6 years I believe, but Wrights overall skillset and ability is better than Aminu’s.
personally
i feel this rookie class will go down as one of the weaker ones. No proof, just my opinion, though players like Aminu are a large part of why I feel that way
Goal: 8 seed!

Wright is a backup SF, just saying. If you’re going to say he’s better than Aminu, what are you basing it off of? Aminu in college has shown that he’s a very good defensive player and can rebound like an animal. Wright has been in the league for 6 years and he has yet to have a real breakout season. If Wright is better than Aminu, then damn, the Clips made a bad decision in drafting him then.
He’s just a rookie and Wright has been in the league for 6 years I believeDerek Fisher has been in the league for 14 years, Stephen Curry has been here for 1. Whose the better player?
Damn, every time I see the name "Wright" I automatically think of Brandan Wright.
I was thinking, “Why are you comparing Brandan Wright to Aminu?”, but then I re-read the post and realized you’re talking about Dorell.
But yeah, I wouldn’t necessarily count some of those years that Dorell has played in the league. He didn’t get much playing time his first two years, and then had an injury that cost him a majority of another season.
If he’s our starting SF, it will be the first time in his career where he’ll actually get some legit playing time and he’s still only 24. I think there’s still a chance that he has a breakout year in his career, kind of like what happened to Matt Barnes in 06-07. Barnes was really considering quitting basketball, but fortunately for him he got a spot on the Warriors, played a big role on the team, and hit 100+ three pointers that season after only hitting a total of about 19 his entire career before joining Golden State.

Beans will be freed up for a lot of weakside blocks now as well, now that he doesn’t have to be the main rebounder.

Steady Reggie? Not bad… Too bad it doesn’t rhyme or use alliteration.

Steady Reggie has the same flow as Kid Curry.

Kind of,
but Kid Curry works because it’s kind of like an alliteration; the ‘K’ and ‘C’ make the same sound. That’s why it somewhat works.

once upon a time
before many of you were born, there was a major league outfielder born in Brownsville, Tx, a graduate of Galileo H.S. here in altacalifornia, got to the bigs in ’64 and stayed about ten years, even played in Japan for the Ham Fighters a few seasons. Because he was built like the proverbial fire hydrant—lady and gentlemen, Walt “No Neck” Williams. Call Reggie anything you care to, that will always be his nickname in my mind.
Music is the Healing Force of the Universe (a.ayler)
Ham Fighters
This always makes me chuckle. “Nippon Ham” is the company that own the team (a food processing conglomerate based in Sapporo). The team nickname is just “Fighters.”

But somehow “Ham Fighters” has such a nice ring…
