Thank you Ronny, Kelenna, and Anthony
Though I am overjoyed with happiness about David Lee(I know some of you don't like it), lets give a special goodbye to ronny turiaf, kelenna azabuike, and anthony randolph.
Ronny: Love your heart, love your enthusiasm, love that you put every ounce of effort you had into you everytime you stepped on that floor, and that you cheered us on on the bench. My favorite play of yours: Blocking Kobe when he tried to dunk on you.
Kelenna: Defintion of solid player, great teammate and solid defender. Great effort, and to see the last image of you to injure yourself like that was bad, but i will miss having you in the warrior jersey(no homo) My favorite play of yours: blocking the denver nuggets player
Anthony: Young, athletic and full of potential, great upside. Hope you become a star in NY, and will continue to root for you, my favorite play of yours: The whole sequence @ Chicago, nuff said.
YEEE we got LEE, but thank you Ronny, Kelenna, and Anthony.

Azubuike ..
Warriors made that kid, it was a pleasure watching him grow. Turiaf was a joy to watch with the amount of passion he brought to the team. And Randolph, Randolph, Randolph .. I had the highest hopes for this kid. Actually, I still do. I think he’ll be a star. I’mma miss them all heaps.
6 years of David Lee, lets hope he brings his A game. He certainly has MURDERED the Warriors a fair few times over the years.
PFortyy :)
'11 Champs!
he’s murdered a lot of teams, this is a great movie. Best wishes the Ronny, Buike and Randolph. Loved Buike, Ronny was always a big chuckle to watch with such passion. Randolph has some good raw talents, but didn’t really seem like he wanted to be here. Hopefully he is happier in NY and can develop a bit more. Really excited about Lee though.

2 of my all time favorite dubs, and one of my all time favorite prospects. Good luck to all of you.
Cut.
LOVE THE DEAL
But yea – Anthony, Ronny, and Kelenna you guys will be missed and thanks for your services in the Bay
The Time Is Now! Win Warriors Win!
Hate the deal... love all of you!
Now a Knicks Fan! Will watch your games.
May blessings be with you.
biggest loss is Buike
without his good looks on the floor my wife will now never watch the game with me.
he's too much of a babyface
wifey is a grown woman, not a teenager.
Plus, Buike’s got the guns
With both Buike and Maggette gone, we’ve lost our “guns” and literally a lightweight team now!
Geeez Louf*ckingweeez!!!

This sucks
I really wanted to see who Randolph became as a player… while he was playing on my team.
More than anything, this reinforces my initial joy from when I heard that the team was finally being sold. That’s the only silver lining – the team will soon be under new management.
ar was not going to be on the dubs down the road anyways
he wanted to leave
ar was not going to be on the dubs down the road anyways
I had been wondering about that as well but given his reportedly being stunned by the news and his recent “more mature” comments about knowing that he needed to improve the mental side of his game gives me pause.

WTHEck?
I like the trade, but why couldnt we throw vlad or charlie in? why we have to get rid of both randolph and turiaf???
by montaellis4president on Jul 8, 2010 8:24 PM PDT reply actions
EXACTLY
NYK probably would have taken Ronny and AR, why not throw in Bell, Vlad or Gaz? They would want more money to get Melo so why not do that and keep our only 3? We got ripped off
When I get older, I will be stronger.
They’ll call me freedom, just like a Waving Flag
apparently we brought in charlie

Next step: Sign Brewer with the MLE to start at SF. May have a chance at an 8 seed.

Dang,
Turiaf was my favorite Warrior. remember how good a center he was when Biedrins was out? … hopefully Tolliver will be our new energy guy!
Azabuike.. another favorite one, never had bad attitude, i don’t think he got a Tech, except from a dunk i think ..hope he bounces back from his injury!

I hated this deal
but now im lovin it!!!! Im really gonna miss Ronny dancing on our bench though.. good luck to all of you guys!!
Fear is the Mind Killer
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You
One for each of them, and I hope they succeed with the Knicks.
Anthony Randolph is happy to be a New York Knick.
And the Knicks fans are gonna be way happy with this trade once they see what Ant can do.
It's just a plant, it grows in the earth, and if you happen to set it on fire there are some effects...
This Warrior Team will be scary if we signed Ronnie Brewer. The best perimeter defender in all of basketball if it wasnt for artest. I bet Larry Riley is begging his agent to accept the MLE.
basicly we traded unproven talent for proven talent
amare will proably mentor ar to be a star in a couple yrs
AR will make us regret this day…you deserved better than to be given such random playing time, but I hoped that you would get it with us and a new coach.
I’m gonna miss you because you were one of the only reasons I was hopeful these past two years, without you they would have been even more agonizing.
Buike, you were a straight gamer. I remember that, you fit right in with the We Believe gunners and took control when you needed to. That shot against Philly exemplified your heart, the only other players on our team that could have hit that were Baron and Jackson. Get healthy and become a solid player please.
I’m gonna miss you because you were one of the only reasons I was hopeful these past two years,
That is the thing about a rebuilding bad team send away “potential” …at least we had hope for the future. As much as I am trying to get behind the Udoh pick this makes me want to whine about not having Cousins.

Buike
the best game that was most memorable and showed his heart was when he played center when dubs had 5 players to play. Forgot which team they played, but i believe it was 2008-2009 season. Anybody else remember? Or was i trippn?
"Go DUBS!!!"
i bet AR is going to be blow up like J.O or Tmac as an Knicks. That is going to be scary there....
damn you queen james!!!!!!!
I will follow New York a little more now
I hope Randolph gets some minutes, and Buike could be really good as a starter in NY. Of course I will miss Turiaf’s emotional outbursts.
Gentlemen......
Mr Buike…. it was a pleasure and honour to have a brief chat over a beer and discuss old london town and basketball. You held yourself as a professional athlete, who did his job, gave his very all to the Warriors uniform and for that I thank you. It was a true pleasure to watch you develop and had it not been or the injury I believe you would have had a break-out year. Best of luck in the recovery.
Mr Randolph…. Lessons can often come hard and today you will be starting to take in the lesson that has been served to you with regards to ‘perceived attitude’. Unfortunately it seems you truly enjoyed being part of the Warriors and unfortunately had you just maybe listened a little more to those around you, you would have picked up on the vibe that you needed to get your head down more and put in even more effort and do exactly what was aked of you….nothing more and nothing less. I have no doubt you will develop, deep down you are clearly a great kid rapidly becoming a man in this world and league…you will get the opportunity to learn from Amare what being a true power forward is and I wish you the very best of luck and actually hope we might get you back into a Warrior uniform in the future.
Mr Turiaf…… our Captain…our soul, our spirit, our fight. From the moment of the open heart surgery I knew you were a fighter, you very quickly proved to become a true WARRIOR! While some may be blinded by pure statistical reference as to your value, I could see a value that you brought to the team that can never be quantified and that is the quality and value of being a natural leader, hype man, mentor and glue that brings a team together… I am truly sad we have lost you from the Warriors and cannot help but feel that somehow you may feel stabbed in the back by this franchise and I could not blame you for that. You gave your very all and a million miles more. I watched you limp up and down the court clearly injured but fighting on because you knew we had so many other injured… You sir are a shining light to every young man that plays ball and reads this blog as to how to behave and how to live your life…for that, you will have my eternal respect and gratitude for everything you have done for our squad.
VERY best of luck fellas and I hope its adieu rather than goodbye and oce again…THANK YOU!

here, here...
We’ll miss Ronny’s emphatic, weak-side swats….Buike’s work ethic and solid play….and AR’s raw ability and the excitement he brought to the team.
Not to hang our heads though…we are getting a solid player in return. I would’ve liked to see Radman and his contract go instead of Buike or Turiaf, but the toughness and rebounding that D-Lee brings will make up for it. He’ll be a solid player for the Dubs as long as he continues to put up numbers like he has the past 2 seasons.
We Believe!!!
Tolliver's working out with the team
but he’s not officially on the roster. Warriors did not extend a qualifying offer to Tolliver nor Hunter.
Dear Fans:
Your crying has just begun…
AR, Ronny and Buike, I’ll be watching your games!
Yes,
Couldnt have said it any better! Thanks guys!
Although these are not bad moves by Riley....
…….it still seems a bit odd to be making these moves just before new owners come on board. Plus I would have expected the new owner/management to have an opportunity to evaluate our team in a healthy state. Is Riley doing this to get some trades on his resume before leaving? The new manager is going to be somewhat boxed in by this.

It also seems kinda odd
to add David Lee after trading Corey Maggette for bags of balls. To me, that kind of said “youth movement.” Not that Lee is old, but it seems weird to trade Anthony “Youth Movement” Randolph if that was the case.

Well ,all those here who have been screaming for change must be excited.
Having to wrap my brain around secretly hoping that AR becomes a bust and Buike never recovers. Slap myself here…bad thoughts..bad thoughts go away.

Forecast
As much as I like David Lee, not knowing how he will work with the Warrior’s current system makes me a little uncomfortable. The three players and money spent to get him means they must make the playoffs in the upcoming season. The question is, if they do plan to make the playoffs, can they develop and adjust to a new system accommodating Lee, in time to play well enough to make the playoffs? Did the Knicks make the playoffs this past season? Oh, that’s right, they are still in rebuild mode!
You really think that this is a playoff year now?
Love the optimism…..
