Since it is a slow week in W's news, I was wondering what everyones favorite dunk of the past decade was. I do not have any favorites and am completely unbiased as i put the nominees up. These dunks all happen during regular NBA games. That means no dunk contest dunks or dunks in USA games. The final guideline is that every player can only be nominated for one dunk. I know that may be ridiculous, but variety is nice to have. Also, I would like to apologize in advance if I forget to mention a dunk you are thinking of. So, without further a do, here are the nominees...

but that’s the era of basketball i grew up on (the latter stages of the lake show, and air jordan), so i’m a little partial. even still, those are some vicious dunks.
the monta on barbosa dunk is pretty saucy too. i was at the arena that night, and the place went bananas after.
dubzfan has the sickest dunk though. playoffs, shorter baron going up and through the taller longer kirilenko. awesome stuff. still gets me giggling.

That pipen dunk over Ewing was one of the all time best but you you had to be a Bulls fan cause it was nasty!
when Pipen strattled over Ewings head and looked down at him…I thought Ewing was going to reach up and whack Pippens jock he was so mad!

that andre igoadala dunk was fierce. It looked like he was going up for an unbalanced layup but then he explodes at the last second. That was my favorite dunk. OH and the derrick rose ally oop dunk. I think it was against atlanta.

for me it’s a toss-up between baron davis on kirilenko and dwayne wade over varejao. those were the most breathtaking game dunks I’ve seen in this past decade in my opinion. but the one that vince carter put on Zo was nasty too. i’m suprised the baron davis dunk wasn’t on this list, after all this is Golden State of Mind.
