Haha

On FB, whoever is in charge of the Golden State account said that the first game was against Portland on Oct 27. That was deleted about 10 minutes later haha

Nov. 19, the Knicks are coming to town.

Probably because we got Jeremy Lin...

Doesn’t make a lot of sense but they want high ratings since this is Yao’s return!

by iHypeTV on Aug 10, 2010 12:36 PM PDT up reply actions

I guarantee that Lin has nothing to do with us playing Houston in the first game of the season. The game isn’t even nationally televised.

Wow, i hate the NBA.

They always give us a ton of road games to start the season.

I’d rather play the bulk of the road games early as opposed to late.

My goodness

7 road games in 11 days around the beginning of March. That’s bruuuuuutal.

Then there’s also the road-home-road-home-road-home-road-home series in mid December. Ouch.

Jan and Feb will be heavy on the home games.

Overall not a fun schedule.

by IQofaWarrior on Aug 10, 2010 11:44 AM PDT reply actions

All but 1 (Warriors @ Bucks) of our nationally televised games are at home.

by DubsFan408 on Aug 10, 2010 11:52 AM PDT reply actions

We also play at Memphis on ESPN2.

Oh, yuck. We open with Houston and end with Portland….again.

We also play at Milwaukee on a college football Saturday again.

Why do we gotta play against the Heat on ESPN.

by DubsFan408 on Aug 10, 2010 12:04 PM PDT up reply actions

If we even stay in the game we get props

publicity wise, it’s a can’t lose.

Baseball is a chamber orchestra. Football is a marching band. Basketball is a modern quintet. jazz, rock, hiphop, pop/ all about the beat./ still my revolution not/ til you dance through it.

Haha

DO they think BJennings is gonna light us up for 55 again?

In that case can we play the Clippers on national TV with Curry going for 40/15/10??

"I thought it was going in," Warriors center Chris Hunter said. "It looked like the invisible man tipped it away at the last second."

Great

Yao, Scola, Ariza, Martin, Brooks… Who all are Warrior killers.. Theyre better than us at every position LOL.

Lee > Scola, Curry > Brooks

by DubsFan408 on Aug 10, 2010 4:10 PM PDT up reply actions

Ellis>Martin

If Ellis reverts back to his 2007-08 form, this is very true. Martin is poor defensively and shoots it at a very low percent.

I wouldn’t be so sure of that. Martin’s TS% is still higher than Monta’s even if they both convert to their “old form”. Martin isn’t good on D, but Ellis isn’t much better. So I’d pick Martin > Ellis.

Atleast our early early season road trip aren't against the better teams.

We open 4 of 5 at home. Should be able to win 3. Then a mediocre 5 game road trip which I’d like to see us take 2 (5-5). Detroit and NYK at home (wins). At Lakers then Denver (losses).

We have to be able ot start atleast 7-7 cause the following 21 games I have a hard time seeing us winning more than 8.

If that happened we’d be 15-20 entering 18 of 22 at home with 2 of the 4 road games in clipperland. In that span I see no reason Warriors cannot win at least 15 putting them at 30-27 entering the final 25.

But for me key is a good early start so not to ruin the season.

I love how we get to play the Lakers early this year!

Warriors/Lakers games are my favorite to watch. There’s a lot of Lakers fans in the Bay Area so it automatically made me hate the Lakers growing up, especially since Lakers fans at school would talk smack about the Warriors non-stop.

I’m happy to see Miami @ Golden State going on national television. That game is going to be epic.

I don’t really see why people are complaining about the schedule so much. I have a lot of faith in this team if they can manage to stay healthy (which hasn’t happened since 07-08), they’re capable of doing anything and you can’t expect the NBA to spoon feed them an easy season.
