Good for Muss. I thought he had a pretty solid 2 year stint with the Warriors. It was just silly when Chris Mullin and Robert Rowell dumped him to bring in Mike Montgomery. Guess Mullie didn't like it when Musselman kicked him out of practice during the Gary St. Jean era too much.

Also does this mean the Warriors are going to eventually be the first team to call-up a coach from the D-League?

Heard about this a few days back and I was wondering the same thing. Is Musselman back with the Warriors next year?

I will be at several Bighorn games this year so I will get the chance to see how he’s doing.

And he is going to do a Q & A today at a local pub.

You live in Reno?

I just passed through there on my way east (East as in New York) and stopped at the coffee shop, “The Hub,” for some caffeine and “The Old Granite Street Eatery.” Those hot spots? I was pleasantly surprised by them.

We are trying to catch up with other metropolitan areas, but there is still a lot of “If it’s from California it must suck crowd” up here and yes it’s the same crowd that are Laker “fans”.

Old Granite Street just redid there restaurant and I have not had the chance to go yet, (maybe next weekend) but it is in a real good location, that whole area is getting a makeover.

Reno is considered Kings territory, they play a preseason game here every year. Plenty of Lakers fans, and I suspect an uptick in the amount of Trailblazers fans as well as they drafted both players who left Nevada early in Luke Babbitt and Armon Johnson.

I’m just excited the Bighorns are now the Warriors affiliate.

They’re the Kings’ affiliate too, if I’m not mistaken.

And now the Bakersfield Jam are a Lakers affiliate.
