Hey everyone, I spotted these pictures from the Rookie Photo Shoot. I think they're alright...what do you guys think?
I like how Ekpe Udoh is trying to hide his messed up left wrist haha. Jeremy Lin actually looks pretty big compared to Ekpe. Anyways, I think the road uni's are a lot better than the home uni's that were shown earlier in the year.
I can't wait for the season to start, and this is my first post! Be easy!

i just wish they would have gone with the blue from the throwbacks but these are nice. remind of the new niner uniforms in that they are similar but updated form of the throw backs

lol, definitely..I’ve been lurking awhile in these forums and I’m pretty tired of people looking for the smallest thing to badmouth. Any way you guys spin it, these jerseys are an upgrade over the past 12 or so years.

I beg to differ.
It’s no small thing when this is how our team presents itself to the Nation. The old jersey’s may have been ugly but it was succinct and had all the requirements of being a professional NBA jersey. One of them being that you would be able to read the team name from a distance. (It’s difficult seeing the the type even just based off of that full body shot photo)
Fix this by changing the typeface and you’ve got yourself an Instant Classic instead of something that should have been.

I also just realized that the two vertical stripes on the sides are supposed to be the new towers for the Bay Bridge.

These are sweeeeeeet. I cant wait to see if we have any alternates but on the bright side, now I CAN buy a current Warrior jersey. I have all the retros, throwbacks but none with that stupid thunder and lightning logo (so sue me, I thought the thunder mascot was cool but the logo was just awful!).

I don't like the white lining on the sides.
I don’t think it fits the jersey at all. Just keep it simple with the gold and blue, IMO.
Wouldn’t be surprised to see it removed within a few years.

Maybe it's just me
but the shade of blue in the pic makes the jersey look like it’s been through the washing machine about a million times.

our jerseys look like different color blue’s at times lol. In that picture above the color of that jersey is not the real color of our jersey. Maybe its the lighting?

I’m pretty sure the jersey’s are a little darker shade than the one in that picture. Also, the yellow logo in the middle looks like it’s reflecting a lot of light.

I agree, I’m pretty sure its the lighting and the backdrop that makes the blue look faded.
I have a Steph Curry swingman t-shirt from the Warriors draft party and it’s the same blue as the photo with Lin. I like how there are lines on the uni’s when you look at them up close.

Really do like the road jersey.
I think the “Golden State” part is too small.
Let’s just switch the whole thing up and call ourselves Oakland Warriors. That sounds much better =).

this picture of lin and udoh
is WAAAAY better than the photo above. the colors are super weird in that first photo but this bottom photo looks way better. the white “tracks” on the sides don’t look as awkward (tho i still think they GOT to go).
anyway, in the picture way top, Jeremy Lin has, in the words of Tony Horton of P90x, “Diamonds of gold” for triceps!

Golden State Warriors is just fine. Isn’t it funny how the Warriors are so different than all the others teams now. With our jerseys and our team name, we are very unique!

i think
the thematic purpose of the jersey is to emphasize the logo over the lettering. so i can understand why they keep golden state so small
Goal: 8 seed!
“Golden State” shouldn’t have to be de-emphasized — it shouldn’t be on the jersey at all. It’s a total no brainer: take the lettering off the bottom of the circle altogether, and put WARRIORS on the top. Even setting aside the lazy, ham-handed choice of Copperplate, to frame the logo top-and-bottom with lettering of different sizes and (even more galling) different spacing is just a clueless, rookie design move.
Make those simple, obvious fixes and the uniform goes from a B- to an A-, imho.
There will be no extra point!

Jerseys are so-so. An improvement, but they’re too busy.
I say keep either Golden State, or Warriors. Not both. Warriors and the Home, GS on the Away.

They look like High Shool jerseys! I agree with the above comment,that the away jersey should say only “Golden State” on the front,maybe Warriors down leg stripe (which should have been gold= much cooler). The blue is more a royal blue than a dark blue like last year.I’m not sure I like this hue. I don’t know why the circle is without BB stripes (like the logo) on the Warriors official site-they should be there !
I hope we have a Gold alternate for home with (Warriors on front) and another color (burnt orange or black?) alternate road jersey with “GSW” on the front. That would be very stylish !
