After getting a DNP-CD for the Spain exhibition game, Rajon Rondo felt he was on the bubble of being cut. On Tuesday, Rondo withdrew from the team, citing family reasons and other stuff he needed to do before the NBA season. Yeah, sure. Anyway, congratulations to Stephen Curry for making the team! We'll be rooting for you. The final roster looks like this now:
Guards: Chauncey Billups, Stephen Curry, Eric Gordon, Derrick Rose, Russell Westbrook
Forwards: Kevin Durant, Rudy Gay, Danny Granger, Andre Iguodala
Centers: Tyson Chandler, Kevin Love, Lamar Odom
As for the final exhibition game in Greece, Warriors fans will have to get up preeeeetty early for this one. Like, 9am early. That's not the end of it. All of the games will be early morning affairs. Make the jump for the broadcast schedule of the 5 games of the Preliminary Round.
Familiar names on Greece: None that I recognize. You can check the roster on the Greece FIBA team page.

If you really want to watch these games live, prepare for a brutal early morning showtime. Some of these games will be live as early as 6:30am!!! If you miss the game live, you can catch the replay on ESPN2 later that day. NBATV might also do replays, but I can't tell what their replay schedule is.

I’m disapointed in USA basketball. Rondo should be playing more than D.Rose or Westbrook, yet they totally disrespected him.

Disrespect? I highly doubt Coach K’s number one priority is hurting Rondo’s feelings. His goal is to create a team that can win Gold in international play. Respect, Rings, and status in the NBA should have nothing to do with it.

I would guess this was more of an issue of coach K playing everyone else to examine who to cut. Rondo got a little butt-hurt, so Coach told his cocky [butt] to pack it up.
Honestly though, I thought Rondo was playing pretty well and was suprised by this move

How many threes has he made so far during this tournament? Isn’t that why they brought him on? By the way – Rose is hella good. I have new respect for him watching him in this tournament.

if that was the pass to the corner, i think the corner shooter wasn't his man
his man was more towards the “shoulder” at the 3 pt line. Curry was sort of caught in no-man’s land, between guarding the paint and his man being on the outside

I thought his man was closer to the shoulder, not the corner, unless his man “snuck” to the corner, and I missed that part. i wish we could rewind and replay and check.
