Adam Lauridsen: ...Goethe once observed that "what is not started today is never finished tomorrow." The Warriors didn’t make an earth-shaking, playoff-contending move Monday by signing Lou Amundson to a two-year, $5 million deal, but they did take a step in the right direction. Amundson brings rebounding, defense, physicality and dirty work to a team desperately lacking in all four categories. He’s a limited player — his offense is almost non-existent — but what he does offer is particularly valuable for this squad. And while Lou’s game is by no means captured purely by the numbers, even the numbers make the acquisition an attractive one.
