Ekpe Udoh "Enjoying Life"
A while back, someone on GSOM posted a link showcasing some photos of Udoh getting his swerve on... ON A BOAT! Now there is actual video footage of Udoh and his off-season training in Miami with fly women and non-important former NBA players. Peep footage at 6.00

Not a big deal.
I actually found it encouraging that he allowed a camera and interviewer on the boat. I trust there wasn’t cocaine, hookers, guns, Lawrence Taylor, imported slaves etc. on the yacht as well. What’s the big deal? It’d be one thing if he was healthy and doing this every day when he should be working out. It looked very formal to me the way everything was set up and with Roberson there; It seemed like a boat warming party after a new purchase. ???
I don’t know if you were saying this is “wrong”, but judging from the little “off-season training with fly women” and “Enjoying Life” comments, it sounded like there was some rancor.
Damn dude
if you think girls shaking bare booty cheeks getting flossed by a g-string = formal, then I wish i went to your high school proms!
But I would have to disagree, there is nothing “formal” about Anthony Roberson. Ciroc though is a formal touch, imo.

haha
I just mean the food set up, (obviously catered) the small group, (there wasn’t some huge fleet), and just the general scene on the boat. It wasn’t a bunch of people getting high and drunk and wiling out. They weren’t sniffing lines off of g-strings and doing anything illegal. Aside from the booty clapping, it sort of looked like one of my family’s cookouts. I think Udoh was basically showing off his new vessel, waving to the bystanders, and taking the time to do an interview. Haha, I mean it’s not formal, but comparatively speaking it is, ya know?
Sniffing lines off of g-strings???
Damn, that would be taking partying to the NEXT level! I literally laughed out loud when i read that comment about “lines off of g-strings.”
But anyway, I wasn’t hating. If anything i was impressed that we got a player that gets his party sponsored by Ciroc. I can’t imagine Biedrins, Reggie Williams, David Lee, or anyone else doing what Udoh is doing.
With that said, lets get a GSOM night on a boat!

I will get the g-strings ready if that is the case.

I wish I had that kind of pull...
Will you accept one-piece swimsuits instead?
by dj fuzzylogic on Sep 8, 2010 8:39 AM PDT up reply actions
Apparently
I have no choice, unless I want to get banned. Let’s go the extra mile and make it a senior citizen event and play wheelchair volleyball with an extra-inflated balloon. Bring the kids. Then again, 75 year-old-women in one-piece bathing suits happens to be a personal vice of mine. They can take out their teeth. Bring that to GSoM night, and I’m your huckleberry. ;)
If you haven't figured it out yet
SOME, not all, of us at GSOM built this site off sarcasm and I can only speak for myself when I say that I never take any of the Warriors antics that seriously.
But if you want to believe that i’m berating Udoh for living it up, go right ahead.

I would say my main contribution to this site has been- aside from my stunning good looks- a plethora of bad jokes that only 3 people in this world seem to find amusing.

That is "the Dramatic Prairie Dog"
I also recommend “the cupcake dog” as far as animal expressions go. I think the dramatic Prairie Dog is a good spokesman for the idea that Ekpe Udoh is somehow being scandalous by having fun while also being injured.

There's a lot of "remixes" of that prairie dog on Youtube. haha.

Amazing how quick you get from “dramatic prairie dog” to “two girls one cup…” :-O
My kids aren’t gonna be allowed on the internets till they’re 30.
There will be no extra point!

I made a really innocent comment and it got deleted
I’ve noticed this happening to other people around this site too.
Does anyone know why? Or who of the GSOM Crew to ask about why this happens?

From what I understand
The comment you responded to was hidden and as a result, your comment also was hidden since it was a response. My assumption is that it has nothing to do with your comment at all. I wish bloggers had the same access to toys and things. haha.

Apparently its ok
to talk about cocaine on a “family” website but when someone posts a bogus article trying to get people to get mad a one of our players the response “And????” gets deleted.

Please see my responses. If you still believe that I am chastising Udoh for gettin’ his swerve on even after I said no, then I really don’t know what else to say.

Haha, “family” values are a lot more harmful to our freedom than cocaine ever has been. If this site has any self respect it will fire any moderator who dares to delete anyone’s thoughts. We come here for opinions not censorship (we got the mainstream conservative press to handle that) If kids reading inappropriate material are a problem just eliminate the kids.
Lights please, lights please, turn off the lights.

I think
that it’s funny as a moderator, being a family site, you say nothing about someone referencing cocaine..
Yet if someone disagrees with a member on this site about stats… They will get banned or warned. What is going on in this family site?
New song from e-40.
Stat head. Stat head. Stat head. Stat head. got that Sta Sta Sta Sta Sta Sta Sta stat head
I throw the numbers in the calculator let it simmer and bathe, add some wp48 let it form like after shave, I like my advanced stats cause they “mean” a lot more, you can hear Sleepy and Gov’na arguing for them from next store…
Stat head stat head stat head…. daaar darr darr darr.
Whats my favorite word….."STIIIIIIIIIAT.
Let’s GO WARRIORS!
The comments about cocaine versus "ANDDD????"
need to be clarified. You bring a good point about this being a “family-site” which we try to push to make this less of a flame-war space.
But, the comments about cocaine were not a celebration of it. We are not condoning that behavior. Illboots was making a comment about how he thought the party was “formal” and not a celebration of vices. The following comments about cocaine, again, were not a celebration. Merely mentioning cocaine is not an issue as much as the context by which it is being uttered that is an issue.
Merely responding “And????”, however, is not a bad thing as much as it doesnt “Say anything” for a lack of a better phrase (refer to our FAQ about posting). Clearly you have an opinion about what was posted and we just want any criticism or comments about what was posted to be articulated more. As you have seen in other threads, different people pride themselves and their discussions on how much they get out of them.
This isn’t to say joking about cocaine on a boat is something more valuable for a discussion then “And???” But anyway, your point is taken.

Skeptic said, I don’t think anything should be deleted, but a lot of responses get deleted on here if they don’t fit a certain “category” for specific mods. And then I see something like the above comments allowed and pump by brakes(like De La Soul). For the record, other than this article I enjoy pretty much everything you post. Sorry for the And???? comment. I could have taken a better approach to that.. Peace.
Point taken.
I can understand if the ‘moderating’ may seem uneven. From what I know, it is sometimes done by committee but we try to be as consistent as possible. It’s always a work in progress, but for the most part we of GSOM are in agreement about what should be hidden or not.
No need to apologize for the “And???” comment. I think it was clear from your other comment that you felt that I was criticizing Udoh and that is fair. Again, we’re not trying to censor but just change the discourse when it comes to online chatting. And of course, comments about cocaine should be reviewed in the same manner as comments that just say “And???” Apologies for any confusion but I hope this helps or helps us as a site?
Dig the De La Soul reference by the way. One of my favorite groups and albums of all-time (“Stakes is High”).

Whenever i post on Atma's posts i usually get warnings and hides. I rarely do on anything else. Coincidence?

Coc****
I apologize if I offended anybody. Cocaine can be found in any Junior High school book, (not literally, I hope) and the word in itself, is not bad. Hopefully my reference displayed a common distaste for the substance, and a particular distaste concerning it’s usage by professional athletes(on our team). My joke afterwards may have been a bit distasteful in the eyes of a 12 year old. Then again, when I was in 7th grade, I wish the man who came in just before lunch time to educate us about the various STD’s shown on a giant slideshow, would’ve showed us pictures of some white powder, instead of boil festered off-colored anal cavities. It wasn’t the most tasteful thing…
That is disgusting
But I suppose seeing that might deter you from doing engaging in those activities. Did it?
I was doing youth mentoring and an older man (San Quinn’s brother to be exact) came in to talk to the youth about the youth violence and getting sent to detention centers/juvenile detention/jail. He was extremely graphic about the type of homosexual activities that could happen, which for middle-school youth, you could imagine, was frightening. I don’t think that was the best way he could have approached jail (using homophobia as to scare teens) given how he makes homosexuality as “scary.” but at the same time I could see how that would actually relate to adolescent kids who spit the word “gay” and “homo” without knowing well what that means as a identity. I suppose shock value is what they got for but you would think teaching methods nowadays wouldn’t use fear.
