The battle between Kobe and Monta was incredible with #24 having a slightly better stat-line. But Monta may have won the real battle of snarl-faces.

from what i hear...

from what i hear… from my source (being troy muphy i have many sources).

kobe was talking alot of trash. paying no respect to monta, while monta just bit his lip and played the game. monta had a great game, he was just undersized. i can’t understand why keith smart would not put dorrell on monta in those minutes. it was those times i would have gone with rodney carney in the lineup over steph curry based upon the way curry played last night

Thank you TroyMurphy for the insider knowledge!

I would expect that from Kobe. Monta never seems much the talker (as we’ve all seen from these post-game interviews…but who really enjoys postgame interviews anyway after playing 48 minutes) so I’m not surprised he didn’t engage with Kobe. I wonder what Kobe was actually saying to him?

“Hey man, imagine how good you would look in the triangle offense”

Monta's interviews...

His interview skills have actually really improved from previous years. Before this season, his interviews were pretty brutal to watch but it looks like he and his agent knew that along with the improved play on the court, would come the attention off the court. He definitely seems a lot more comfortable behind the mic… relative to previous years of course. And as long as he’s playing the way he has been, who cares how he interviews.

Curry didn’t play bad at all last night. He didn’t have a great shooting night but 5-12 isn’t terrible, plus he threw in 10 Assists and 4 rebounds.

FWIW, Curry was the ONLY Warrior to have a positive +/- at +2.

Carney was also cut

I think.
Curry had a fine game. Well rounded statline.

It's biodigital jazz, man.

Kobe's snarl face

is uglier than this

"You're not going to ask a center to create his own shot, so it's on us."

That looks like a 'nightclub'

I went to not long ago in Ann Arbor, MI. Now that’s what I call a ‘great time out!’ in michigan!

Dead sexy. By dead, I mean I feel like killing myself after seeing it.

And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is Monta Ellis when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

haha

some things, once seen, cannot be unseen – sorry!

still…I would probably hang out with these guys. Have some deep fried mac-n-chz, a few beers, get down to some Jimmy Buffet, play some Galaga (or whatever that ancient video game in the background is..maybe duck hunt)
