Are Sixers more prone to trade Iguodala after elbowing incident?
I know that there are discussions elsewhere of the Warriors trading for Iguodala (perhaps combined with Brand). Might this incident provide a brief window to work a more advantageous trade for Iguodala? I have no reason to think this incident is a big deal, besides this article, but thought I'd pass it along. Go Warriors!!!

How about this trade:
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=6eybu5t
Warriors get: Iggy
They need another threat and a team with Iggy being the fourth or fifth option must be a great team offensively and defensively Monta and DW don’t have to forcefully guard the best perimeter player each and every game.
76ers get: Charlie Bell, Brandan Wright, Vlad Rad, & Michael Redd
They want to build around Jrue Holiday and Evan Turner so exprings along with a project big man (Brandan Wright) would be a nice starting part. The 76ers are a playoff team right now and with Iggy barely being a factor this year it’s not as if he’ll truly be missed.
Bucks get: Elton Brand
They need a big man to put next to Bogut and with Elton Brand having a bounce back year it’ll be smart. Plus, with three years remaining on his contract it’ll end right on time for the team to have money on the side in order to resign B-Jennings if they opt to do so (which is most likely).
not bad of a trade.
bucks are essentially giving a menial player for a consistent player (horrible contract though). 76ers could do it because of the expirings. vlad is alright as of late. maybe they wont accept charlie bell, might replace gadz. we do it because we get a good off the ball player and defensive minded player in iggy. win-win-win.

I agree...
But the Bucks know what a last minute trade can do as it worked out really well with Salmons last year and with Jennings coming back soon it will only make them a much better team because hopefully Brand can also be a mentor as well. And like I said early his contract ends in perfect time in order to sign Jennings.
yeah, they have Mag's contract as well
and they just signed Salmons and Gooden to big contracts last offseason
Iggy has been a big factor to them actually
His defense has been hest of his career, in my opinion. He’s really embracing the ‘stopper’ role.
Then again, they are 5-8 without him, 12-15 with him….
Bucks front line of Maggette, Brand, Bogut
If they make the playoffs, thats the least exciting lineup in the history of playoffs
Didn’t the Clippers make the playoffs with Maggette and Brand before? I actually like watching Bogut, so I would have to guess that the Clippers team was less exciting…

it's more that the current brand is a shadow of the former
And so much less athletic
Yeah, true. About the only positive thing I can say about Maggette is he has been consistently unwatchable throughout his career, including his time on the Warriors.

I like this trade for our Warriors, not sure the other two teams would.
Deal pending:
-Philadelphia’s desire to throw away this season and start over this offseason beginning with free agency (if Anthony is not traded by deadline, wouldn’t a 1-2-3 of Holiday-Turner-Anthony be somewhat attractive to Anthony; Even more so if they’re able to pick up a nice 4 or 5)
-Milwaukee’s desire to take on Brands contract, which I don’t see why not unless they are trying to prepare for a lockout. The trade is a immediate and short term upgrade at the 4.
It’s definitely a plausible trade idea.

I'm sure most of us would like to trade expirings for Iggy.
But would Philly do it if they could get a starter is the question. . Why do you feel obligated to deal Brand for the 6ers, and add a third team in this?, Why would the Bucks give up Jefferson’s expiring contract for Brand’s bloated one?

How about Gaz instead of Radman?
Radman has been playing well and loosing B Wright is already breaking my heart…

As a rule of thumb, if a player has to call himself a leader repeatedly, he isn’t one.
This sounds dangerously similar to someone on our team…
Anyway, found a youtube clip of the elbow in case you want to see it.

Curry better watch out for his playing time...
if we pick up Iguodala (or another bigger SG), while keeping Ellis.

Binky can play point better than Montay so don’t worry. There’d actually be no good reason to keep ellis if we got iggy, we could trade Montay for a better center while his value is high and thus get tougher at two positions

i didn't see what happened
but it sort of depends on exactly how he elbowed him. if it was just sort of a nudge than it’s not really a big deal. if it was more of a wind up with malicious intent then yeah, big deal
I think its just the way he did it...
Like he did it without saying anything to him which gives signals. If he had elbowed him and then stopped to talk to him I think it would’ve been different.
i saw the footage of the elbow
i think people are blowing this a little out of proportion. he defintely nudged him but it wasn’t an elbow.

no way
elbow shot right to the chest
punk’d him HARD
