It's just under 2 weeks until GSOM Night 10 on Sunday, February 13, Warriors vs Thunder (Kevin Durant!). We're revealing the GSOM Night 10 t-shirt design courtesy of Tony.psd. It's the first ever shirt with designs on the front AND back. It's also got a silhouette of Monta with another one of his acrobatic layups. It's going to be awesome.
While you're wearing the shirt at the game, you'll also get a shot to win courtside club tickets by knocking down a few 3 pointers in our first ever 3 point contest after the game. Grab some tickets and practice shooting some 3's.

If you bought so early that you beat ticketmaster to set up that promo, then email Dana Knops (DAKnops@gs-warriors.com) of the Warriors directly. He'll verify you purchased for GSOM Night and get you set up.

"The No. 1 thing (fans need to know): we’re going to do our damnedest to bring the Warriors to respectability on the basketball court." - Joe Lacob
The warriors said that you only got t-shirts if ordered before Feb 1st, has this changed?
from the order site:
All tickets purchased before February 1st will include a special GSOM Night giveaway designed by tony.psd!
by The Golden One on Jan 31, 2011 10:24 PM PST reply actions
they give you a coupon with the ticket,
They set up a booth behind usually section 215 where you exchange the coupon for a t-shirt. Usually have a couple sizes available.

Also wanted to say, it's been brought up many times about updating the site to the new colors.
Why not switch the colors to yellow and blue. That part would be real quick…..
Then for the logo, why not just use the one already designed, that the warriors use for GSOM. (from old GSoM night shirt design)
They keep using it for this site, so I don’t see why they would disapprove.
It’s clean, looks nice, has a bridge in it and would fit the teams new identity.
It’s actually a lot more classy than the current logo also.
Here is what the Warriors use for GSOM

I say use the The blg GSOM logo.. let’s start this movement to change it to that.
I was watching the Clippers broadcast of their game vs the dubs and they were using the old warrior logo. It looked pathetic to be out of date like that. But then when coming back to one of the biggest fan websites and they still haven’t even changed the orange to yellow, it’s just kind of sad….. It’s time.

Yea, I have that shirt and it looks great.
I think this would be an easy way to upgrade the site.
It would bring a more professional look and classy one instantly. It would give the site more credibility.
The biggest part with any logo I see getting in the way, would be if the warriors would be ok with it. But they have already approved this logo and are actually using it in emails there sending out for GSoM night.

Also
Do u believe the logo is what gives GSoM it’s credibility? The way I see it in my opinion we have some excellent writers here and people that post great posts. It was never the appearance of the logo that had me join gsom i disnt even design that it was given to us lol. Just sayin’…

it doesn't really matter
as you said, no one’s gonna stop coming here due to an outdated logo, but I feel it’s something that can be changed fairly quickly and will better represent the team we hate to love :)

Of course the writers do.
But when someone new first comes to the website, they haven’t read everything and you know what they say about first impressions.
When you check out a website for the first time. The appearance kind of tells whether or not you think it might be worthwhile checking it out.
There’s a reason why companies pay so much to have new logo’s made. Appearance always plays in to perception.

Already have tickets for that night
bought it a few weeks ago…is there a way to buy the shirt without buying the tix?
J.
Sorry, no way to do it.
You need to buy the tickets to get the shirt.
Think of it like this instead:
You’re paying $25 for a t-shirt AND you get a free Warriors ticket with it. Just sell the ticket or give it away.

Anyone know how the 3 point contest is gonna go?
I figure there’s gonna be a lot of participants so it probably won’t be the standard 5 racks/25 balls right?

they will release the details later
but it will probably be a double elimination on the first round -you get one shot, you make, it get another, make both and you are on to the second round…after that, it’s do or die till only one person is left
At least, that’s why the last Free throw contest went
…and again, I’m sure the details will be released soon

Here are the rules from the Warriors
Each shooter will get only 1 shot. If you make it, you head to center court for the next round. If you miss, you are ushered off the court. Round 2 will be the same. You get 1 shot and if you make it, you stay alive. If you miss you are gone. This will go down until we get a winner.
I know it’s not a lot of time on the court, but there are going to be 500+ people there each taking 1 shot so it adds up. So, take your time, deep breath, and shoot. If you make it, you get to stay on the court for awhile. Good luck.

Still confused
How do I prove I purschased my tickets for GSOM night? I bought 6 the day I saw the post (1/19) and I just printed out my tickets. There is no mention of GSOM, or t-shirt or voucher anywhere on my ticket.
Will they know that Section 231, Row 18 is part of the GSOM extravanganza?
by Another Failed Tedford QB on Feb 2, 2011 11:40 AM PST reply actions
I had that happen to me last game.
Email Dana who is the warrior rep handling the group project. He sent me an email stating that the email from him would be my coupon for the shirt. So I just had to print that out and take it with me.
by The Golden One on Feb 2, 2011 4:58 PM PST via mobile up reply actions
My voucher this time is located right under the ticket
To the right. So if it’s not there, email Dana like I had noted.
by The Golden One on Feb 2, 2011 5:07 PM PST via mobile up reply actions
there should be a
“Special Event Promotional Item Voucher” directly under the ticket, on the right side. It says to redeem the promotional item outside Section 220 the day of the event. There’s no mention of GSOM or a free shirt or anything, but I’m assuming that’s what you need. If your tickets don’t have that, e-mail a Warriors ticket representative or something.
