The season hasn't begun and there are already things that are concerning me. I'll keep this as simple as I can.
PG - Steph / Jenkins
SG - Monta / Thompson
SF - Wright / ?
PF - Lee / Udoh / Amundson
C - Jordan / Biedrins / Tyler
Is it be or does anybody else see an overload of bigs? Last year, we had five bigs, and this year, it increases to six. Six out of only eleven players. Is Mark Jackson really that desperate for defense? So what do we really need?
Last year we had three point guards (Steph, Acie, and Lin). All one team really needs is three people that can handle the ball, and we have that already (Steph, Monta, Jenkins). We also have Thompson, who can play both the two and the three. We need to find another back-up either at the two or three spot. How do we find one is the question. Do we trade one of our bigs away? Do we have enough money to sign one? If we do trade/sign, who would you like?
Do we try to find the money to re-sign Reggie? Or how about trying to re-sign Thornton for cheap?
Or even a bigger question..Do we not sign Jordan and use our money for deeper depth instead?
Let's hear those ideas!
Notes: VladRad is already with the Hawks, so there is no possibility of re-signing him.
What would be the smartest move to make to find our missing player?
