Rockets claim Jeremy Lin off waivers!
I thought maybe we were gonna pick him back up again after unsuccessfully landing a center. Sad to see him go, but glad he went to a team and a fanbase that wants him.

Good for Lin.
Houston jumps on it right after Warriors release him. Sounds like Houston knows what they are doing, they are on their way to get more impact players too.

wasn’t right after. It was completely last minute. He was going to clear waivers tonight.

what does that mean?
Houston is signing him before the waiver or after?

Houston is one of those teams that seems to know what makes a good basketball team.
Look at their roster, they don’t seem any better than the Warriors on paper but they definitely are.

they are. without Yao they can still be in the playoff
and now they are going hard after center, at least they have way better chance to get a great center than Warriors.

the only reason they don't seem better than the warriors on paper
is that defense is always undervalued and offense is always overvalued.
Good for him
Hopefully he makes the team, because if he doesn’t, his career is essentially over.
