Baron Davis Is Taking His Appetite To...
Baron Davis will officially sign with the Knicks Monday, according to NBA sources.
Davis will sign for the $2.5 million room exception. Davis became a free agent Friday night after clearing amnesty waivers and agreed to become a Knick over this weekend. The Knicks have reviewed medical reports regarding Davis’ back and are convinced he will be back on the court this season.

OOoooeeee
I like the look of the knicks.
Baron, Landry, Melo, Amare, Chandler.
You have to admit, they will be fun. Doubt they can beat Miami or Chicago, but they’ll be fun.
I don’t put it past Baron to somehow rediscover himself. He’s a selfish enough prick to want to play well now that he’s in a major market and has some limelight. He also won’t have to do much except push the ball, distribute, run the pick and roll. All things he is good at.
-Baron is made for this offense.
-You have 4 positional plus rebounders to compensate for Amare
-Melo’s seen his best numbers in his short stint in this system.
-Chandler is literally everything the knicks weren’t last year.
If Baron's healthy...oh my.
I didn’t think this Amare-Melo thing could work but with Baron and Chandler they actually could do some damage.

the moves makes a lot of sense for both sides
Everyone knows Baron’s injury and weight concerns. I’m actually more interested to see how he’ll react to Amare and Melo demanding 25 shots a game. He tends to disengage when he’s not the focal point of the offense, and both Amare and Melo tend to be black holes.
But if Baron plays like he’s capable, it makes the Chandler signing more valuable as well.
He was very productive in LAC with Blake/Gordon
His offensive +/- per 100 possessions was almost identical to that with Warriors in 07/08.
Right
Because he had Blake and was actually motivated to try. If the team struggles or he doesn’t get enough touches, it could get ugly.
Well, I don't particularly think Baron cares about scoring a lot
I think he’ll enjoy PnR’s with amare/Chandler and dishing to melo.
Baron Davis will officially sign with the Knicks Monday,
Good for Boom, something positive to look forward to this season afterall.
Mirror on the wall
Here we are again.
