My god, did anyone see the LAC preseason game??
3 allstars PG in the team. If we can beat LAC in the opening game, we are in for the playoff.

yeah they played pretty good against a pretty depleted lakers team.
im sure we can beat the lakers this season. Clippers are gonna be dangerous with cp3 and chauncey, but i like our chances. Caron vs Dorell, close one. Blake has a leg up on dlee for sure. Beans is that missing link. Bench wise, i think we have a better bench. Overall, i think we have a chance at beating them.
P.S. Im glad we didnt get deandre. He forces his own shot even if it is a bad shot.
curry & iggy TEAM USA buddies.

It was dominating
Question, why didn’t we cut and amnesty Bell and Lin before we offered money to Chandler so we could outbid the Knicks? Then we could have done the CP3 deal to.
CP3 looked really good, I was just thinking wow what if we had him you know….
RIP Al Davis
I thought our offer was already higher than the Knicks?

Warriors had negotiated 4 years/$52 M with Chandler and NYK offered him 4 years/$58 M….
Warriors didn’t want to overpay but I’m sure if Warriors would have offered 4 years/$65 M, Chandler would’ve been a Warrior. Can you imagine, the changes made by the team on defense and that anchor at the Center. I say we would’ve been the 5th seed in the West

I think if we would have over payed him and got CP3 it would have been well worth it
Perennial contender right there
RIP Al Davis
I can imagine if we overpay Chandler, we will have a better chance to get CP3 too.
That’s too bad… I guess Warriors are not taking the risk enough.
Then again, Warriors is not in a big city like LA nor NY. Maybe we will have a better chance to land a superstar in 2017 when we move to SF.

I am wondering why we can't just waive Bell
… why we have to use amnesty on Bell?

Monta is gonna light up Chauncy on Christmas

I'm actually excited
Whoever Chauncey guards is who we need to feed. Chauncey cannot stay with monta off dribble, nor can he chase Curry off screens. And I finally have faith our coaching staff to identify it early and adjust asap!.
Pick your poison LAC.
I have a feeling though
That they’ll have Paul on Curry, Caron on Monta, and Chauncy on Dorell. I saw that mismatch during the LAC/LAL preseason game.
But then again, Barnes lit up early in that 1st quarter, so it still might be good for us

pretty sure chauncey is used to guarding point guards.
he’s done it his entire career.
Chauncey was guarding Lakers SF
Because LAC wants Butler to guard Kobe. Monta is a mini Kobe, Chauncey will guard Monta on Sunday.

I like been positive
but I don’t think Curry + Monta > CP3 + Chauncey. Lakers is pretty much the same as last year. To me, LAC starters = LAL starters, but LAC bench > LAL bench. LAC bench is like their last year’s starters. One thing different with Lakers is the coach. I am glad we didn’t sign Brown, he doesn’t look good at all in last night’s game.

Does anyone else feel like league is shifting to 2 small skilled guards?
There are only a few (4-5) bigger 2guards who are reliable scorers. The rest of teams seem to have a 3 guard rotation involving a PG, a combo guard and a big defensive 2guard.
Obviously you got Miami trying to do their best MJ/Pippen bulls impression. LA has Kobe, San Antonio has Manu. Boston has Ray Allen (aging), and Houston has KMart, Atlanta has Joe Johnson.
but even in many of those cases they move their 2guard to thr 3 (manu, JoJo), and all except KMart are over 3.
Seems to me, there’s a bit of a shift in NBA, because there are so many talented combo guards coming out of college. Coaching are finding ways to keep a smaller backcourt on the court for extended minutes.
Seems like a natural evolution when you consider all the defensive rules, making it a lot harder to defend. Really gives the advantage back to the offensive player.
Sort of like the NFL and all their rules to protect offensive players.
It’s forcing teams to pass more, and forcing defenses to play a lot of dime and nickel. The power running teams seem to be in the minority a bit, or at least the balance is a bit more even.
In both sports, with the rules changing I could see this shift becoming the norm. Or just wait until the next crop of talented and tall shooting guards come close to making the league.
"I thought it was going in," Warriors center Chris Hunter said. "It looked like the invisible man tipped it away at the last second."
"He's chicken curry right now. He'll become beef curry a little later on."
