Jeremy Lin Made the Rockets

Lin MADE THE ROCKETS EXCELLENT!! The roster as of today lists 15 players not counting Samuel Dalembert, the newly acquired center ( 11 21 2011).

This made my Xmas. Now if he can just work on that stroke so that the follow through is more at 85 degrees rather than 70 for him.

He is going to have an excellent year because now he can shoot. He is going to show them that he is a bigger stronger version of Goran Dragic with much much better lateral movement than Goran.

One thing, Lin does not get by too many of the quickest guards in the NBA because he dribbles too high, he doesn’t have a power dribble either ( where you dribble the ball 1 to 1 1/2 feet off the ground, pounding the ball to the ground (almost)

But even the quickest guards, no one goes by him defensively. NO ONE.

He is going to have that chance now and when Samuel Dalembert is ready to play, they will send either Hasheem Thabeet or Lin to the NBDL.

Yes!! he is going to carve out his niche in the NBA this year, as an all around guard with an offensive game!

Lots of politics involved. Mainland China considers Taiwan part of itself, but everyone else doesn’t recognize this. Taiwan is an independent country, but not in the eyes of the mainland.

this is like the happiest post I’ve heard about Lin in awhile. I don’t think he’s going to get a real chance there unless there’s injuries… I hope you’re right though.

Nothing to see here Folks

Nothing more than a CAREER BACK UP. The only question is how good of a CAREER BACK UP will he be. Right now it looks like he has swapped the end of the Warriors bench for the end of the Rockets bench LOL!!!!!!

That would seeem to be true. Lacob probably made a good attempt to find reasons to keep Lin here in the bay area for the local connection so I’d be surprised if houston signing him means much.

If he has a long career, there’s nothing wrong with being a career back up. I’ve always liked Lin and hope he keeps playing that tenacious defense and continues to remain composed on offense.

Rockets waived Jeremy Lin late last night to make room for Dalembert. Dalembert signing to become official late tonight or tomorrow.

Oh, you were serious? Dang. Yeah, I couldn’t find any news on it. As far as I could tell, they JUST signed him. Poor guy. I suspect someone else will pick him up.

Mike Dunleavy Made the Bucks

Since we’re talking about irrelevant former Warriors…

Dunleavey did more for us than Lin will ever do. Dunleavey is relevant because he made it possible for us to get SJax and TMNT and thus go to the playoffs.

Dunleavy, for all his flaws, probably makes the Bucks better. He’s worked hard to become a decent player. Also, Skep is correct. He did help us get “Young Fella” and Al Harrington.

Wow very nice to see Jeremy Lin excelling in the field of Rocket Science.

I always knew he was an incredibly smart guy but I can’t believe he made all those rockets. So soon after his basketball career too.

WHAT!??!?!?!?!?!?!

It doesn't seem possible

But then you read it and yes, there it is. Whenever I saw him play I always said, “Wow.” I couldn’t believe it. He made you believe that anyone could play in the NBA if you got the right break. Even women and the elderly. That’s how I’ll always remember him. Inspiration.

@jcnolongerballin

You might want to change the name of this thread to “…made the knicks.”

Or “…made the Rockets waive him”

I heard he doesn't like music.
