Around SBN: Trent Richardson Interviews Fellow Brown Brandon Weeden

*Disclaimer* Not a big stats guy, so educate me if(when) I'm wrong!!

Read that TOR may buyout Reggie's contract. Is he someone we should go after? Not much offense, but we don't need offense. He provides things we NEED: rebounding (16/36min, 34.8drb%, 26.2trb% better than Kevin Love for comparison) and toughness. Doesn't get too many defensive stats (blocks, steals) but I've always thought he was a strong defensive player--or as strong as an undersized big can provide.

Yea, we just signed Adrien, who is similar, but 8 years experience helps.

What do you all think?

yes

He’s a good defensive player and monster rebounder. Would help. Except I think he’ll be signed by boston or miami or another playoff team

Yep, pretty much. I’d be ok with adding him, but if you’re him….you go to a contender, right?

exactly what miami need off there bench too

Without haslem.

I’m more interested in some undervalued potential guys. Guys like derrick brown or maybe even jared jefferies. Or you know… brandan wright :(

Is he good defensively?

For some reason my synergy isn’t working anymore, not sure what to do.

Steph Curry and Reggie Williams all day baby!

He's very physical

He can’t really guard centers cause of his size, but definitely PFs cause of good length (7-2.5 wingspan)

BTW his rebound per minute rate is higher than KLove this year. Surely he can find a role. Career rate of ‘only’ 12.7 per 36

He's a pest. Basically the PF version of Bruce Bowen.

I checked his Synergy numbers last season and they were ridiculous (SSS though, I think he was hurt).

This guy is an insane rebounder. I had him on my fantasy team and he single handedly won rebounding for me every week. But he really can’t do much else. We should give Adrien the minutes he would use.
