The Man who can save and make the Warriors...Enes Kanter

I think it's pretty safe to assume we'll never be able to sign STAR high profile PF/C that can change our teams fortune. David Lee doesn't count..he's a solid player but he isn't going to help you contend. So we will have to look to the draft to find our man. What we have lacked for years is someone who can play physical and not get abused by other teams' bigs. Someone who can work inside and out.

Looking at the draft one man looks like he can fit the bill. He was suppose to play for Kentucky this year but he was ruled ineligible as he was being paid money when he was playing in Turkey. So that made him a professional basketball player. He should enter the draft even so. He dominated his age group for years in Europe and set a Hoops Summit record with 34 points.

Here is a link to his Hoops Summit highlight. You can spot some college players in here that he dominated.

Here is his draft profile.

NBA Comparison: Al Horford

Strengths: Bigman with excellent size, strength and polish … Combines brute strength with a high skill levelSoft hands … Long arms and solid athleticism allow him to be a force in the paint … A tremendous rebounder. Plays with a high motor and enjoys contact … Has a strong frame and a high basketball IQ … Has a scorers mentality. Owns a diverse offensive game with the ability to use post moves and strength to score on his opponent or face the basket and knock down mind-range jumpshots … Has the strength to muscle through contact and finish … Smooth offensive game. Has a soft touch and excellent shooting motion Good free throw shooter … Has legitimate center size. Measured 6-11, 261 lbs at the LeBron James Skills Academy in July … Possesses great dexterity and body control for a bigmanCoachable kid with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

Weaknesses: One of the big concerns scouts have with Kanter is his physical health. He has had a history of knee problems and there are concerns about his knees not checking out 100% when he has NBA physicals … Foot speed is good but not at the level of some of the top inside forces in the NBA … Played one year of high school ball at Stoneridge Prep in Simi Valley, California and was somewhat inconsistent

Did that get you excited? Yes there are obvious risks but do you want to take another skinny kid like Randolph or Wright? Its time to do whatever it takes to get this guy. Lacob if you're are listening/reading..Please tell you scouts to check out this kid. If we aren't in position to draft him then trade who ever you can if his physicals check out.

Another kid I kind of like is Perry Jones. He has the potential to be like McGrady but also can be the next donte Greene
