Keith Smart
On the fourth quarter:
"Considering we played a game last night, I think we got a little leg heavy but also got a little careless with the basketball and started to feed them. Of course Nick Young hits an incredible fall away shot, but that guy is capable of that. I thought (Trevor) Booker came in and did some extra things at the basket, got them extra opportunities."
On his team’s offensive rebounding:
"Well I thought David (Lee) did a good job. Considering the way he played last night, and then tonight not having it from an offensive standpoint, but he knew one thing he could do and something that he does, is rebound. He gave us some second and third opportunities and I thought that was key for us."
On Wizards point guard John Wall:
"Speed is his asset right now. Over time as he develops that speed along with a developed jump shot, that’s what is going to happen with that young man. That young man is going to be really good, but right now there is a learning curve for him."
David Lee
On the imortance of rebounding:
"It’s very important. We have plenty of scorers and rebounding is one of our team’s weaknesses. We play a smaller lineup and that’s something that is very important for us to do - to out-rebound the other team. I like to think when we outrebound the other team we have a very good win-loss record. I like to set the tone."
Stephen Curry
On today's game:
"They didn’t quit. They didn’t give until that game is over mentality, they fought…they made some plays, made some big shots but we stayed composed down the stretch. We just ran our system. We executed our offense. We always try to put pressure on defense and attack and attack, when one person gets tired, the next person takes over so it’s a nice chemistry we have out there."
On getting the win:
"It was huge. Coach told us just get better. For us it wasn’t about winning or losing, it was just about getting better. Our mentality coming in was just to play hard, play aggressive and just try to get better."
Monta Ellis
On today's game:
"We’re just going to take this win and live with it and move on to the next one. It feels good to get that monkey off our back. Hopefully we can turn it around now, put a couple of wins together and try to finish this road trip off right."
