If we have Dorell and Wilson Chandler, what possible use is there for TCG?
There will be no extra point!

Achieve the goal of playing 4 small forwards at once?
Acie Law (Still one of Nellie’s greatest ideas ever)
Dorell Wright
Wilson Chandler
Al Thornton
whoever
Where do we go from here?
Burks is nothing like granger
Farried does not have beef. He is 220 pounds

If we could get 1-3, i'd be ecstatic.

typical
fellow warriors fan. Every damn year… all we want our team’s owners to do is trade the best player on the team away for players in the damn draft.

Who said we wanted to trade Curry?

Burks is a 2011 version of Eddie Jones. People keep talking about how the Warriors need a 3rd guard with some size. I think Burks is that guy. To bring him off the bench makes you a much deeper team. He is 6’6 but could handle the ball like a point and can jump out the gym and is great at creating his own shot.
Yeah he can be that third gaurd
But I doubt he’s there at 11, I’m pretty sure that’s were we will pick.. A player to watch who can rise up the boards is Kawhi Leonard. He’s a solid rebounder and defender, not much range on his shot.. But can hit the mid range and take it to the rack

I think he’ll still be on the board. If he is not that means a good player will slip down to us. Right now DX has him going 14th to phoenix. I dont know how he’ll raise his stock from now till then unless a few guys stay in school.
Jordan Hamilton, Jared Sullinger, and Tristen Thompson
All have already said they’re coming back. Nbadraft.net is a much better site for mocking players, check it out.

Kawhi Leonard
will not do ANYTHING in the NBA. He is going to be a bust if he is a lottery pick. He cant score on anyone, isnt tall enough for his rebounding numbers to translate in the NBA, and does not have the skillset to be a sf.
ok say we do what you said
I still don’t see that team making the playoffs In the west. maybe if curry becomes the “superstar” we all hope he can be.

You do not build a winning team by trading the best players...
YEAR AFTER YEAR AFTER YEAR! Do you remember the destruction of the We Believe Team, did that make any sense at all?
did that make any sense at all?
JRich was traded to have the salary space to fit Monta’s upcoming contract while still remaining under the luxury tax. whether it was a smart move is debatable, but it made “sense”… BD left for more money-he wasn’t traded. Jack demanded a trade b/c they sucked-not b/c the team wanted to trade him.
You do not build a winning team by trading the best players…
except when you do. OKC moved Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis. The Cavs moved their 3 best players at the time (Andre Miller, Lamond Murray and Wesley Persons) so they could suck enough to draft Lebron. The Celtics moved Antoine Walker to rebuild. The NYKs moved Jamal Crawford and Zach Randolph. Speaking of Zach, the Blazers moved him (and Sheed, Damon Stoudemire before him). The Magic moved T-Mac. The Raptors moved Vince and got Bosh. Grizz moved Pau, getting Marc Gasol and the cap room to trade for Zach. hell, New Orleans moved Baron to the dubs for Speedy Claxton and Dale Davis and got better.

My only reply to this is none of these teams have yet to win a championship with the celtics exception and at the time Pierce was their best player, not walker. Not saying the teams didn’t get better but just saying, if u trade your best player away its not going to just make you a better team exactly .

so ur saying the teams got better, but they really didn’t get better?
Im saying that yes SOME teams have gotten better this way, but if you just up and trade your best player away your not guaranteed to be better.

maybe he meant Faried in the 2nd round. there are some sites that have him going pretty late.
by homer simpson on Mar 25, 2011 1:23 AM PDT up reply actions
I think he’ll be a lottery pick…if not he won’t last long after. I could be totally wrong but that’s just what I think will happen.
by Slightly Hyphy on Mar 25, 2011 8:17 AM PDT up reply actions
At this point, if you trade Monta, his value could be a lot lower than earlier in the year. Might have been better to deal him at the deadline.
Something needs to be shaken up this offseason though.
He's bad luck.

We’ll have better luck at the lottery for the simple fact that the scourge Brandan Wright is off the team. That guy was absolutely saturated with bad luck, and now that he is gone, the Warriors can finally start to turn it around.

No to Al Thorton .... I don't think Monta can bring back a high first rounder
Al Thorton did not get the job done on so many teams. Now with his contract about to expire, he’s playing well & Warriors should give him a contract ?? I just don’t get this logic. Only way Al Thorton should be resigned is if it’s a one-year contract. Sorry but I’m not convinced that what he’s showing the Warriors can be expected next season.
===
If you feel Monta is not a player that the Warriors can win with, why would you expect another team to give up a high first rounder for him? Of course, those prospects look good but it’ll take more than Monta to get first rounder from the teams with high chance of landing the top pick.

As for Wilson Chandler, I guess it all depends on how much he’ll command on the FA market. What do you think is the most Warriors should offer Chandler?
