Warrior Wonder Standings (March)

Any hope the Warriors had to make a run in the West fell apart during their two road trips this month.  The Warriors went 2-11 on the road during March, leading to an overall monthly record of 6-12.  Particuarly dissapointing road losses came against Indiana, New Jersey, and Sacramento.  The struggles of the team on the road in recent seasons has been an major sore, and this year has been no different.  The Warriors will now enter the final weeks of the season looking to either play spoiler or improve their lotto chances.

With Monta Ellis fading down the stretch once again (quite possibly as a result of leading the NBA in minutes), the other Warriors starters have had to carry more of the load.  David Lee, who has largely dissapointed in his first season as a Warrior had arguably his best month of the season in March.  Lee averaged 16.7 points and 10.3 rebounds and shot 53% from the floor for the month of March.  Lee's rebounding was crucial as the Warriors continue to get little rebounding from their center position.  Perhaps Lee's best game of the month was a 24 point, 15 rebound effort in Tuesday's overtime loss to Oklahoma City.

I can’t believe Bumgarner still only has one vote.

There will be no extra point!
