He looks pretty talented for a 19 year old playing against older men
It would be crazy to pass on him at 11. Too much potential to pass up especially when it’s hard to find a solid starting quality center. Let him stay in Europe for a year if he elects to, then bring him over and bring him along slowly his first year.
Exactly,
granted hes young, but he’s playing against smaller, unathletic guys. In the League he won’t be getting away with all those free dunks. Guys are going to put him on his a$$ and he will become quite tentative after that. We already have a tentative 6’11 Euro, we don’t need another.
"That was very funny about the old man basketball skills. One is lucky to escape injury when playing against those crafty, crusty sumbitches. And it’s just demoralizing when they demonstrate yet again how to use the backboard from range." - Charlie Custer

Shoots 90% from the free throw line.

haha 'minor detail'
Seriously if he’s just Biedrins (circa 2008) + free throw shooting he’s WELL worth our 11 pick.
90% is ridiculous, meaning we can do a lot of PnR and various different things to get him to the rim.
except he shoots 90% from the line
and gets to the line a ton…i dont think he’ll be tentative.

1:07 PnR fundamentals
never turn your back to the ball.
Definitely the player ive wanted the most in this draft...hope we luck into a top 3 pick and get him

Well...I'd much rather get him with the 11th pick
but I get your point. He’s probably my favorite of the “could slip to us” candidates, given our need at Center. I think that picking him in the top 3 is much more risky, especially since he may stay in Europe for another year (I’ve seen some mention of this, though have no idea what the real story is). Also, although I don’t predict this, I’d hate to spend a few seasons worrying we’d gotten Darko’d.
Go Warriors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's not that risky
When this is a relatively weak draft since most of the top prospects stayed in college because of the CBA situation
