Around SBN: Blake Griffin Slam Dunks: NBA Jam Style

I've been working on a 2011 NBA draft big board. Let me know what you think. I'm hoping Biyambo falls to GSW, but that's very unlikely.

personally i find this hilarious for your analysis on vesely

What I like: Aggressive hi-light real dunks.

NBA comparison: Mike Dunleavy

Mike Dunleavy Sr. must’ve been able to throw down some nasty dunks I guess.

Vesely

Vesely’s NBA comparison is really tough. I agree that he’s not really Mike Dunleavy, but he looks a lot like Dunleavy did in college. Dunleavy ran the fast break well, but has never been able to create his own shot, much like Vesely. I’m a big fan of his game, and given the right PG, he can probably perform well in the NBA. He would play well with Rubio in MN.

Kenneth Faried 6th? Deandre Liggins number 9? Reggie Jackson 11th?

Liggens

I really like Liggens. I felt the same way about Quincy Pondexter last year. Sometimes you just have to stick with your instincts.

Faried

Faried will probably put up amazing stats in the NBA. If there is one thing that translates from the NBA to college is rebounding.

not totally true

carmelo, kd, and beasley come to mind. they averaged 10, 11.1, and 12.4 boards in college, respectively.

Agreed.

Remember, the dude played in the Ohio Valley Conference, which makes me more than a little suspicious of his rebounding numbers.

What I don’t like: Not an inside defensive presence. Below average rebounder for his height.

This makes him the opposite of Pau Gasol

Young Gassol

He compares well to a younger Gassol, who matured into an actual post player later in his career.

Hey Mac of the MIAC

Did you play in the MIAC? I went to Carleton. Really miss MIAC hoops up there in the Twin Cities.

Biyambo
Kevin Garnet
Derron Williams
Pau Gassol
Deandre Liggens
Johnny Flynn

Dude. A little more effort with the spelling, please.

There will be no extra point!
