Just wondering
Does anyone object to taking this guy at pick 11 if he’s there? No way you can pass on this potential with that pick.
I absolutely object
Biyombo is not the guy for the Warriors. He has zero offensive game and post scoring is right up there as a top 3 need for this team. Offensively, Udoh/Biyombo/Biedrins/Amundson cannot play on the same team.
Plus, it’s going to take him awhile to develop, to learn how to not foul in the NBA because I promise you he will be trying to block EVERYTHING. Bottom line, if this guy doesn’t block early, he’s not going to offer much else, so Warrior fans are going to be very disappointed.

2 schools of thought for Warriors here
Pro-Mack: If you buy into the hype, he is a freak of nature with tremendous upside. He could anchor our defense for ten years and if he got even a hint of an offensive game, could be an all star. Plus, outside of first two or three picks, no one in the draft seems likely to be a big star, so if any year was worth taking the gamble, this is the one.
Anti-Mack:Has bust written all over him. He seems like Adonal Foyle to me in some ways. His winning smile and personality won’t score points in the paint. We just drafted Udoh (also a big brought in to provide defense – though he has a better game all around) and bringing in Mack would likely hinder his development (or Bismacks). Plus, if we might move Monta now or mid-season. Burks or Singleton will help us at the 2 spot.
I am not sure duplicating Udoh with Mack would be a bad Idea. You just gave me a craving to see them defend the paint side by side. I have heard Udoh is one of the few Warriors with any trade value so having a surplus to trade may not be bad if we want to trade for a player without creating a hole in the team structure. I am just wondering if, as an athletic player at 6’ 8.31", he could also guard the wings at small forward?
With all due respect, I am a Analyst Hall of Fame candidate. If you are offended by my comment, I did write "With all due respect".

I like this interview
If nothing else he shows passion and the desire to be great. That along with his physical tools is promising. If he is there at 11 i think we have to take a chance on him!
I'd expect everyone to project confidence when we're so close to the draft.
If the reporter asked him if he thinks he can be one of the league leaders in assits, he’d probably say yes to that also.
I think Bismack could be really good
At No. 11 who cares if he busts the organization cannot bet on the number 11 pick to be an all-star and save them. At 11 you take risks, I would draft Bismack above Burkes, Thompson and even Morris just because he has already contributed in a very tough league at 18 and he has abilities that the Warriors lack, defense and rebounding. I see him as an Ekpe Udoh type without even an inconsistent jumper and with ability to rebound. We need more players like Udoh who can defend. We have a good offense and I think Bismack could potentially be the presence in the middle(even on the offensive side) in the future.
um, busts at #11 are costly
The Warriors need to draft a rotation player with this pick. Biyombo is another project big that has many more question marks than Burks, Morris, or even Thompson. Why take the risk when when he’s an Udoh-type player? We need post scoring!!!!

Worst case scenario for Biyombo is a guy who can’t stay in a game because he jumps on too many pump fakes and fouls out a lot, I could see Biyombo struggling to adjust to the NBA for a few years, but his upside is way too much to pass up on!

i imagine him with Jamie Foxx's African accent
so I’m sold. I think listening to his interviews is worth the pick in itself.
Since most of our team has no D (Golen State Warriors), a big who offers weak side help, and rebounds should def help. Hell, we can use anybody, so it doesn’t matter who we pick.
OMG he's so cocky, what's wrong with this guy
< / Monta hater argument #1 >
I think I’ll be completely disappointed if we don’t get this guy. And since it seems more and more likely that we’re not trading Monta, I’d rather not draft a 2. As for offense, I wonder how they’ll make it work. I wish I looked at Chandler some more on what he did on offense.
