Best trade partner- Utah Jazz
Monta this monta that. The world on whether the warriors will trade monta or keep him is totally shaken up. But for just a moment, imagine that the warriors wil trade monta. It seems that the Utah Jazz are the best trade partner. The Jazz front court now has Kanter, Milsap, Al Jefferson, and Favors. They only have devin harris as a backcourt piece.
Why not try to trade Monta for Milsap or Al Jefferson?

The Jazz are a smart organization. They have the best pieces, so they’ll be looking to to get the absolute best players in the league. I guarantee they’ll be looking for young players to develop alongside Favors, too. That guys is likely their future. We don’t have young, superstar level talent to trade. Unless we’re willing to give up Curry, we shouldn’t get our hopes up on getting a big from them.

milsap
jefferson would just be monta all over again (in the forward version that is).
milsap has some good game. but he’s not worth monta. monta and dorrell for kanter and draft picks would be good.
you also forgot okur in that list
It's lonely being the only Warriors fan at UMass :(
Okur will make a nice expiring; I’m concerned about his health, personally. I would say Milsap is easily worth Monta… if we didn’t already have a PF.

i would do it and figure it out later
this team needs help up front. If Milsap for Ellis was in anyway on the table, I bet the Warriors would pull the trigger.
Millsap can slide over to the 3 in certain spots, Lee can play the 5. I’d put Udoh next to Millsap and feel pretty good up front defensively.

By the way, anyone else consider how beastly the Jazz are? Kanter will not be starting just yet, nor will Burks. Between Favors, Hayward, Evans, Burks and Kanter and Jefferson who can be traded for a PG, not to mention Okur’s expiring, the Jazz perhaps are going to be giving the Heat trouble in the finals every year for a while. That’s not to mention their other pretty valuable pieces, like AK47 and Harris.

Unless you totally forgot
Al Jefferson was Eddy Curry-like in Minnesota’s system, next to a big. He’s really only good in that Utah system.
It's a mystery to me (Why the Warriors are so bad on D).--That’s why there’s a big O and a little d in Oakland. -Evanz
Houston seems to have...
a logjam for minutes at the PF position. Love to pry Patrick Patterson away.
Also, a forgotten guy, Jeff Pendergraph was rounding into a hell of a PF until his knee injury and being let go by Portland last year. Would be worth seeing what his situation is.
umm, no. Pendergraph was horrible. The dude has the slowest feet I’ve ever seen in the NBA. Kinda a problem on defense.

I'd love to do Ellis for Favors.
Utah might do it…

I propose that if Klay Thompson turns out to be significantly better than advertised and Udoh rebounds better next year, and also Burks isn’t living up to expectations, perhaps we trade Klay, Dorell and Udoh for Enes Kanter and Burks. Utah does need 3 point shooting in the worst way and Klay and Dorell would be attractive pieces for a rebuilding team. Also, they were interested in Udoh last year.

forget millsap and jefferson...
we have 80 million dollar Lee and Udoh…would be a logjam….I’m zoning in on that Marcus Williams 2012 protected 1st round pick that the Jazz ownz….yes the haunting of Marcus Williams continues….remember, Utah got that pick from NJ in the Deron trade….Monta for anybody + “our pick” back

Only because of the pick.
I’d try to deal Jefferson away the second we got him.
