Analysis of Jeremy Tyler's play in Japan
Here's a (seemingly) well-intentioned and balanced analysis of Tyler's most recent play. There are a bunch of clips as well. Not sure if this leaves me more or less hopeful, but perhaps most interesting is this guy's analysis that Jeremy was much more effective after the team's starting 4 left and he was able to play there instead of inside at the 5. This may speak to his being more athletic than strong (as a 20 year-old). But it does sound like whatever his strongest attributes are, his post game against real defense is pretty under-developed. Nice to at least see those rebounding numbers and concerning to see how much he fouls and his terrible ft% (though not quite Beans' bad-and if you look at the clips, the form looks somewhat better than the outcome so there's likely room to improve?).
In any event, real NBA size and athleticism and a modicum of skill and BBIQ combined with youth are worth tagging a bit of We Believe hope to. :0)
