I think JRich is a free agent though, so I don’t think that’d work

sign and trade?

My adopted son: Edwin Escobar. SOLID.

I don’t understand why we would even be talking to them if they weren’t discussing anything involving Howard.

With the 11th pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, the Golden State Warriors select...Jimmer Fredette!

not worth trading with Magic unless Dwight is in the discussion

Gortat….opps, sorry. Too late.

That.

They have nothing we want besides Howard and the girls above

I would take J-Rich and some picks, but he’s a free agent.

Jameer Nelson plus a 1st round draft pick for next year? Then we trade Jameer.

We wouldn't get much for Jameer

His value has dropped dramatically since the Finals in 09.

by duballers23 on Jun 8, 2011 8:55 PM PDT up reply actions

Well, the 1st round pick is what I’m interested in anyway.

Their #1 next year will be around 25th if they don’t trade Howard. That’s not enough for me.

It’ll be a deeper draft than usual; plus, we have West to help us scout. Draft picks are worth more to us now than they used to be, I think.

It can be the deepest draft in the history of the NBA

and the talent that we get in return at the 25 spot will still probably not be as good as Monta Ellis. Here’s a list of current players in the NBA that have been selected between 21-25. I wouldn’t trade Monta for any of them.

http://cache.nba.com/draft2006/21-25.html

Some people are gonna say Gerald Wallace but I wouldn’t do Ellis for Wallace straight up IMO. But regardless I did say probably not as good…

by clauser6422 on Jun 8, 2011 10:56 PM PDT up reply actions

I would trade Monta for Wallace straight up

but still the 25th pick is basically valueless.

How about we make a three way deal with the Magic and the Lakers:

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=3h44q8x

Lakers get unbelievably good, the Magic get a horrible deal (but they’re dumb so…) and we get Andrew Bynum.

We could give the Magic our pick, too.

thats actually hella realistic

I like it…

Swap Bynum and Howard though :) haha…

I would expect the Magic to demand a center actually. Perhaps we’d have to throw in Udoh.

Unless the deal includes Dwight, there’s no reason for the W’s to even consider it. Monta’s our most valuable player. IF we even consider trading him we better get all we can out of it. Personally I think Monta needs to stay a Warrior.

by NBAPrincess09 on Jun 8, 2011 9:15 PM PDT reply actions

As far as trade value goes

Curry creams Ellis.

i bet you guys its hedo

because hedo was proposed for iguodala too lol

How much time is left on Gilbert’s deal? If it’s two years or less I’d consider Gilbert and a pick for Lee and Biedrins. Obviously, we’d get much worse immediately, but that could get us a great pick in next year’s draft.

by Uwe Blog on Jun 8, 2011 10:05 PM PDT via mobile reply actions

first of all, its a 4 year contract and its 17 mill a year.

second, it is sad to see just how undervalued Lee is to Warriors fans. The first round pick would be like #30 overall.

by Hundredthousanddollarpluswhipmaster on Jun 8, 2011 10:23 PM PDT up reply actions

Undervalued Lee is?

Look at all the posts about trading Monta! I like them both and respect David Lee for his on and off the floor actions, but Monta has stripes with me and he should with all warrior fans.
Like everybody said if its not about Howard don’t even bother

by BrodieLow on Jun 8, 2011 10:52 PM PDT up reply actions

Not interested in anything the Magic have except for Howard

Unless they’d be willing to absorb one of the bad contracts Warriors have.
