Does my post bother you that much? Your GSoM avatar says “Just Win It” – The niners did tha this season t – any team your rooting for I’d do the same, respectively – esp if its in the Bay Area. Lets just hate on everything and see how the world rotates huh… It’s not a great feeling and I don’t feel comfortable posting this.

really, it’s not. I come to this blog for Warriors. I go to AthleticsNation for my A’s posts. I go to Silverandblackpride for Raiders. There are team specific blogs for a reason, right? The way I see it, posting on this blog about another team honestly seems just as irrelevant as if somebody posted something about the Cleveland Cavaliers on here. When it comes to other fans of other teams coming onto a different blog, to unreasonably brag about their team it’s referred to as “trolling,” but now just because it’s a successful Bay Area football team, it’s all of a sudden acceptable and completely relevant? The Earthquakes and Sharks have consistently been successful in the Bay Area, but they get no love on here, so now that it’s the Niners it’s all good?

I appreciate your comments – next time I’ll make sure not to post any non-warriors stuff on here. The way I saw it, there are Warrior fans who are Niner fans so I decided to share it here. Call me selfish – as a graphic designer posting my work, Warriors related or not gets me exposure to someone who probably hasn’t seen my work.
If this was an issue, the main guy in GSoM would politely ask me to take this down but we’ve been open to posting other teams success on GSoM. Guess with all the hype I got carried away with comments I made today. Apologies all around – Tony.

I love your work, don’t get me wrong, I’ve been supporting you since day one, it’s just not everybody here is a Niner Faithful. There’s some Raider Nation on here as well, and I’m sure there’s a bunch of people that don’t care whatsoever about football.
We just all need to remember why we all come to this blog in the first place. Not for football, not for Niners, not for Raiders, but because we’re all Warriors fans, so we should just try to keep it that way, it keeps the peace.

would you really be making this kind of complaint if it were the Raiders in the AFC Championship and he had sent a message in support of them as a bay area team? It seems that most of the blogs of the bay area teams send out a little message of support when a team in another sport in the area is in the playoffs etc. it’s not like he went into in-depth analysis.

I just realized...
Other blog sites/team sites have congratulated other Bay Area teams in the past as well. I def know we’ve done it too – even for the Raider at some point (I think it had to do with a trade, etc.) I’ve done the same for the sharks and Giants in the past and posted up here but don’t remember it being as bad as what I received here on this post – actually I think it was the Niner-Warriors comparison post.
There was a real uninviting feeling with the last Niner post I did so I’ve decided not to post here since I have no idea who I’m dealing with, I could be arguing with a 6th grader for all I know LOL

There was an in-depth comparison between the Niners and We Believe Warriors as a main post around the same time the picture was posted.
Even if this were my beloved Raiders or A’s, this still is no place for it. But hey, it’s just my opinion.
