Now, he'll be the target of several suitors, at which point his price may be driven up by a random team (potentially the Warriors, who want to establish a hard-nosed brand) which puts Wallace out of Portland's price range.

Meanwhile, his play is mostly what’s driving the Blazers towards championship contender status this season. More proof that Lacob has no idea what he’s doing as an owner.

I mean, I can understand not wanting Wallace because he is literally “freak injury”-prone. The guy has suffered multiple concussions and even a collapsed lung from on-court injuries. But to say he doesn’t “fit” on a team completely devoid of defense and rebounding is just moronic.

I wonder what would Charlotte was asking for…the ended up trading Wallace for what amounts to Joel Pryzbilla, Dante Cunningham and Tobias Harris…..steal for Portland.

Agreed.

I’m not the biggest fan of his game, but he is a player that can be featured on a team as a star, or fill a defensive role on team with plenty of scorers. Very versatile.
