I think it would be best to sit him out until the next home game.

Geez, are we trying to break Curry's ankle here?

If you're watching a blowout, you can pass the time by counting the double teapots.

Don't know about ya'll but I'll be sweating buckets over that ankle.

If he sprains it 1 more time just shut put him on the IR

Get an injury exception or something and just sit his ankle down for the rest of the year

Rest isn’t going to help him avoid ankle injuries. Curry sprains his ankles on freak plays. That can happen with a whole summer’s rest (which has happened this season), or it can happen when you just sprained it a short time before (which also has happened).

+1

I think it will forever be a problem, if we don’t see encouraging improvement with him then I say deal him for a top 3 pick and go from there

Man you are quick to pull the trigger, aren’t you?

I'm just frightened of his ankle turning into a Roy situation, I'm usually very forgiving

But when it comes to a player that could hold so much value I say take the chance when you have it and not possibly regret it later on if he never heals

knees are more worrisome than ankles

Of course

But Curry’s are because of how he moves , there isn’t any amount of rest to fix that

I'm on record saying I'd deal him for a top 5 pick in this draft

So yeah….

Curry just holds more value and Monta is less tradeable

And if Curry’s ankle fails him and we have already dealt him we get out like bandits

Nola wanted CP3 for him and scraps

We could at least get the 5th pick for him

It was definitely more than Curry and “scraps”, I’m sure.

by Slightly Hyphy on Jan 15, 2012 9:10 PM PST up reply actions

Klay and Udoh

Considering who were getting in return that is scraps

And in hindsight Klay does look like just a scrap piece

It will be great to have him back and hopefully for the rest of the season.

If only we had Kwame back…

honestly, I can't believe they're risking Steph's career like this

oh, well, not so unexpected I guess. From this FO/owner so far.

J-RIDAH: Its not 1 player in this draft better than Monta or Lee. Anthony Davis is no different than Al Farouq Aminu. Andre Drummond could be good but he is not impressive at this point at all besides his size. This draft is hella overated.

by Evanz on Jan 15, 2012 8:14 PM PST reply actions

not only that

but rushing him back (perhaps) in a season where we have no shot to make the playoffs. this should make us just good enough to lose our draft pick. fantastic

is this what we have to look forward to?

WHy is this "rushing him back?"

It’s strange that everybody’s making assumptions about what the “safe” and “risky” timelines are. What is all that based on?

good to see him back

Maybe try Monta at pg and Steph at shooting guard. Steph should be able to get some good open looks and stroke his way back to form

Warriors coach Mark Jackson said he doesn’t think Stephen Curry (right ankle) will be able to return for Tuesday’s game at Cleveland.
