Deron wants Howard, how we can play too
Deron wants Dwight to come and play on the Nets or he is leaving town. Problem is, Nets have nothing to offer. Here is where we come in.
Magic want to continue to sell tickets as they rebuild and have NO play makers based on what I saw in the game we played against them. Can we send them Monta and filler, they send us Hedo and Dwight goes to NJ. From NJ, we get the rookie SG who looked good against us, Marshon Brooks and their first round pick. Thoughts?

If there's any way we can help move Dwight, why not bring him to Golden State???
I mentioned this in my fanpost. GSW can offer, Curry/Thompson/Wright/Lee/Biedrins (our starting 5 except Monta) for Hedo & Dwight…. Then we have money to sign Deron Williams in the offseason

Why would the Magic want to be the Warriors?

i would like dallas to get them too.
forget those big markets…come play with dirk. dallas would be so sick to have them. dirk is UNBELIEVABLE shooter. Deron can drive and pop and pass. Howard we all know.
Gives us hope that maybe one day we can be kind of like the MAVS if we play it right.

first step for Warriors is to get one superstar, to attract other stars
man, still hate that we didn’t get CP3. Sure, Curry has a bright future and he can be a star, but that means we have to wait for another 5 years to have the chance to get better.

when have we ever gotten a super star to sign?
we have a better chance making moves to get into the top part of this draft and hoping whoever we get turns out to be a star.
Thunder did it, they lucked out with Durant and Westbrook and have signed them both to long term deals.

When has anyone ever had a bad team and managed to grab a superstar in free agency?
by Missing Barry on Jan 23, 2012 9:14 AM PST up reply actions
Clippers
But that is my point. It is extremely difficult for bad teams to sign superstars, and yet people here keep saying they want Howard and Deron. We have a better chance of drafting a player who then becomes a star than waiting on a star to sign. I say blow this team up and get us at least one high pick in this year’s draft.

what superstar did the clippers get in FA?

Only way I see Dallas getting both is thru free agency and they do what Lebron and Dwayne did.

Unless Nets can work out a deal for Howard now
If Howard ends up a net, they won’t walk. Too much money.
ok enough herbs...pass....that ish.

First step Warriors need to do to get Dwight...
Get Deron Williams in a Warriors jersey.
people see this as a bad idea?
MarShon is 6’5 and one of the top rookies this season.
The upcoming draft is supposed to have at least 3-5 potential superstars.
Hedo is waay too expensive but he is also a pretty good SF and helps us in a position we are weak in.
Curry, MarShon and Andre Drummod or Harrison Barnes could mean a great future.
I would hope a 23 year old would be one of the top rookies in his class. If he’s not, he probably has no business being in the NBA….
Hedo is….pretty meh at this point. I’d call both Rush and DW better players.

Really? Defensively I’m sure they’re both better than Hedo, but Hedo still got some juice in him. I’d take him over Dorell and Rush if their contracts were the same.
I think the defensive difference is pretty big, and Hedo hasn’t exactly been that strong an offensive player the last few seasons.

He's been good this year
Call it the dwight effect. Open shots, he’s a good spot up shooter and passer.
16.3 pp36, 5.6 ap36, 2.4 to’s, .626 ts%
You could also call it “sample size”. Let’s see how if it continues. He wasn’t that good in 56 games for Orlando last season.

wasn't 'bad' but yes
12.5, 5.4, 1.9 on .550 ts% is not what I want out of a 10-12 mil player
Yeah, that’s not a bad offensive player, but when you couple it with bad rebounding and defense….pretty meh overall.

warriors are not getting Dwight or Deron
let it go peoples.
hedo? you want to trade for hedo?
hedo has one of the worst contracts in the league; how about this: what till after this year and sign troy murphy to a max contract; that will be the equivalent to hedo but we still keep monta! best of both!

What is so special about dallas?
am I correct that dallas is the 4th largest market and we are the 5th largest market? what is so special? why do they want to go to dallas over here? Is Mark Cuban that great?

Is Mark Cuban that great?
In a word, yes. Probably on Buss has more respect as an owner.
Since Cuban took over the team they’ve made playoffs 12-13 straight years, 10+ 50 win seasons, a title.
And beyond that, Mavs are known for taking care of there players better than anyone. Best locker room, training facilities, plane, hotels. All the little perks. First class all the way. Think DeBartolo’s 49ers. They have that repuation
Yes Dallas is one of the most comparable markets to the Bay Area in the country. What’s so special about it? They just won the championship, have Dirk, and haven’t won less than 50 games in a season since Dirk’s second year in the NBA. I don’t think I need to go over our track record.
