I doubt he'd have that many dunks if Chandler were on the mavs still...
He’s a great young athletic player, but def not as good as this highlight shows. Woulda loved to have him still!

yep. If we have CP3, Beans will look like Howard this year

YEAH RIGHHHHHHHT
We have plenty of guard penetration with Curry, Monta, and even Nate but Lee, Udoh, and Beans don’t have the size, strength, or aggressiveness that DJ has even as young as he is. I’m not saying he is Dwight Howard but he’s better than anything we have.

YES RIGHHHHHT
Curry, Monta, and even Nate, none of them can do pick and roll.

So you're saying the problem with Beans is he doesn't have the right guard to make him look good?
Sure buddy

Well, he was pretty good back when we had Baron and Jackson. Scored at quite a bit higher rate than Jordan ever has. No, he’s never had the athleticism of Jordan, but Jordan also doesn’t have his basketball IQ (at least the Biedrins of old) or hands. There’s a lot more to the game than being able to jump high…

Not like we ever had a chance....
But also remember one of the last plays that led to a Jason Terry 3 pointer? DeAndre didn’t switch leaving Terry WIDE open.
I was gonna bring up the same thing with the TWolves game. You know who was supposed to be guarding Kevin Love on that last play when he was wide open? If you guessed Deandre Jordan, come on down to get your prize!
(Also, we never almost had him this offseason, he was restricted)

Actually I’m not sure the Terry 3 was Deandre’s fault. Unless you’re an insider to the Clips, how do you know he was supposed to switch? Assuming I’m talking about the right play here – he hedged out fairly effectively, and Mo Williams didn’t do anything to recover on Terry. A switch in that situation doesn’t make much sense because it creates multiple big mismatches, but like I said, how do we know how what the Clips scheme calls for?
The TWolves play was clearly Jordan’s responsibility.

I advocated here for him....unfortunately it was all for naught.
"That was very funny about the old man basketball skills. One is lucky to escape injury when playing against those crafty, crusty sumbitches. And it’s just demoralizing when they demonstrate yet again how to use the backboard from range." - Charlie Custer

Meh.
Without the “Blake/CP3 effect”, Jordan is just a more athletic Biedrins with a bigger contract. And, yes, I mean the recent Biedrins, not even the good Biedrins.
