Courtney Lee anyone?

He's a RFA next summer, and I think we should really take a look at him barring he doesn't cost too much. He would improve our bench depth and would be especially good if Rush ends up leaving. Thoughts?

He’ll be overpaid. I would prefer to overpay Wilson Chandler.

THIS to me, should be our single most important criteria right now – no dumb contracts

I think having someone like Wilson Chandler, which is a pretty significant upgrade at SF imo might give this team a good chance at making playoffs, and getting any upgrade at center that can play 25mins a game then definitely. Too bad it ain’t gonna happen.

Yes, We are Chandler!!

Oh… not that Chandler… but it is close enough and cheaper!

by ILoveWarriorsGirls on Jan 25, 2012 9:38 AM PST up reply actions

He could get too expensive though

That’s why we should have signed him before the deadline tomorrow…

by GSWarrior1818 on Jan 24, 2012 11:18 PM PST up reply actions

I'd keep him, as long as it stays reasonable

truth is that he is almost certainly not a starter, even on the Dubs…so, how much can we afford to invest in a solid bench player? (granted, one that DOES fill a need for us)

Yes, sign Rush!

We need Rush as our backup SG/SF. Else this team is doom!

by ILoveWarriorsGirls on Jan 25, 2012 9:39 AM PST up reply actions

Why?

We already have plenty of SGs on contract, and we might re-sign Rush…

Roy HIbbert or Javala Mcgee would be awesome RFA signings!

meh

I mean, I guess I’d be happy if we got him, but he doesn’t really fill a position of need for the team, and I’m worried that a lot of his effectiveness stems from playing with Dwight Howard in the post.

just hardly seems like an ALL CAPS!!! sort of announcement

...leads the league in threes and he's 6'10 as well as 3 or 4 seasons deep

any team can find a position of need for him

I dunno. I’m just at the point where I find it so boring to talk about players like Courtney Lee. He’s fine, I’ve got nothing against him, but Courtney freaking Lee isn’t going to change the direction this franchise is heading.

I came to post this.

Courtney Lee or the dozens of other players exactly like Courtney Lee don’t matter.

javale mcgee and ryan anderson

Go big or go home! This sounds good though and could definately happen
