Who do we trade?

Who do we trade?

Do we keep Curry and Ellis and get a lottery pick and hope he turns into a star? OR do we trade one of them for a star. The offense just isn't flowing with Curry running it. Any ideas for potential trade candidates that just won't leave at the end of the year. Who do you guys like in the draft?

Trade Curry and Lee to New York for Stoudemire, laundry fields, b-diddy and a 1st rd pick
I know amare’s been off to a terrible start but he is a superstars. New York needs to make a move and getting a pg would really help them. They have wanted curry since draft day and lee was a fan favorite. If we got stoudemire we’d need to trade Ellis. We could trade Ellis, dwright, beidrins for Nash, Marcin gortat, and a pick. In this draft I love lamb and Davis and I like mkg, drummond alot

You don't want Amare.

First of all, he’s not a superstar.

Second of all, he’s old and hurt.

Third of all, he’s more expensive than David Lee.

At the same time

OKC gota #5 pick for a 31 year old Ray Allen

why do you think all those moves can go together...

Why would NY want Lee back anyway? Also their first round pick isn’t going to be that high. And why would phoenix give up Nash and Gortat AND a pick for Ellis, Wright, and Biedrins… Please propose reasonable trades because both of these would never happen…

Our offense isn't flowing with Curry in it?

The offense isn’t flowing with Monta holding the ball at half court until there is five left on the shot clock when he finally makes his move. And by move I mean turn it over.

by notEdreese on Jan 25, 2012 2:56 PM PST reply actions

Our offense isn't flowing because guards are not passing the ball!

where is PNR?! Monta only pass the ball when he has no way to go. Well, at least he does pass compares to before… but STILL!!

by ILoveWarriorsGirls on Jan 25, 2012 3:10 PM PST up reply actions

you should watch the fanshot about the offensive execution during the memphis game

The Warriors lost because they kept running PnR nonstop instead of trying to do back screens and other more effective offensive plays.

by Nith on Jan 25, 2012 3:33 PM PST up reply actions

dont forget curry throwing the ball away, time after time…. and monta launching threes like he has never been to the hole before….

what I see when I read this response:
I don’t think you watched the video

HOW DARE YOU

talk shit about the willingness to pass of a SHOOTING GUARD who just had double digit assists feeding the ball to the point guard last night,… you’re a fool!

by Juicy Jay on Jan 26, 2012 9:32 AM PST up reply actions

Curry to me does not seem intrested in getting better… Every year monta brings something else to his game. Curry has not, still making stupid no look, behind the back pass and the foul…. How come mark has not put the lock down on him as a former point guard? Curry once he matures will be good, monta is almost at his best already and we NEED A CENTER NOTHING HAS CHANGED BECAUSE WE DO NOT HAVE AN INSIDE THREAT! PERIOD…..

Now josh smith is a dream player for the Warriors—- defense, shot blocking, scoring, rebounding, he can run the floor. GOLD

Messing around with NBA trade machine

Isn’t that the life of a warriors fan….anyways my deal goes with Charlotte

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=89hszx4

Warriors Receives:
Gerald Henderson, Eduardo Najera, D. Diop, and Corey Spaghetti and 1st round pick(most likely top 5 protected)
or switch out Henderson and the pick for Biyombo
or if they want to switch out Corey for Diaw I would be fine with that to, they are just contracts to me

Charlotte Receives: Monta Ellis, David Lee

Now when you do this trade in the machine it says the Warriors get worse by 9 games and the Bobcats get better by 6 games.

So why does Charlotte do this: Jordan is the owner of there team and he wants a winning team out there. This actually improves there team and may even allow them to compete for the 8th spot. They actually have the bigs that would play well next to Lee. They could even make another trade with Boris Diaw and his expiring contract.

Why the Warriors do this: Puts team in full rebuild mode, They will be awful enough to keep their pick this year. I would love them to run out Curry Thompson Rush Udoh Biedrins as their starting line up. Have Tyler as the first big off the Bench and Henderson as the first Guard off the Bench. They would actually be able to develop some of the young guys with playing time. And finally after next season they will have a boatload of Cap space. I am not sure what the Free agent situation looks like that summer but with all that cap space it opens you up to a lot of trades.

Who is with me?

Nobody is going to trade you anything to get both Lee and Ellis.

Jordan is the owner of there team and he wants a winning team out there.

No he doesn’t. MJ just want to save money and get his money back. This is why they traded Wallace.
