Nicholas Batum Anyone?

Since the Trailblazers didn't sign him to a contract extension do you think the Warriors should make a run at him? He's much more versatile than anyone we have at the 3 right now with a lot of potential. I say depending on our draft pick situation we grab this guy especially if Portland prefers to keep Gerald Wallace over him.

He's gonna be way too expensive

I think Portland should really reconsider before letting him go because I believe he can be better than Wallace. He’s only 23!

Portland has long valued Batum really, really highly. I would be very surprised to see them let him go. At the very least, they should look to shop him.

Most definately! He is a stud and gives us a huge upgrade at the sf

Oh ya

But after the center spot is resolved, 6-9 mil seems appropriate which means he will get 11 mil from us

Yes, that’s how restricted free agency works. You have to offer them so much money it just doesn’t make sense for the other team to match it….otherwise they’ll match your offer and you don’t get him.

Unless they want him to walk

Example: I don’t think the Wolves will match many offers for Beasley

But of course, that’s only the case for players we don’t want. Example: Beasley. ;)
