Should they?

I'd say do it
We REALLY need a big man. Kwame was playing well til he got injured.
Now I’m not saying throw everything at NO, but lets be honest – anyone would be better than Beans at the moment.
They are asking for too much
Otherwise I’d do it for half a year

I think trade Monta for Steve Nash is a better idea

Beans, yes.
No to Jenkins, I like him, maybe a draft pick.
No. Why the heck do we want Chris Kaman? Chris Kaman sucks. I suppose he’s fine as a backup…but we’re not exactly going anywhere this year, why concern ourselves with a backup C? How about we worry about more important things, like turning the franchise into a contender. Chris Kaman is completely irrelevant to that goal. Now, if you’re talking about dumping Biedrins for him…well, I think we can make a better effort to tank than that…
expiring contract
is the only reason to even consider it
Now is the time
trade Monta, get him off the books. Let the chips fall where they may, hopefully we suck enough to get in the top 4

Only if it's to get rid of Beans
Rumor is that the W’s have talked with NO about trading for Kaman. Unless they can get rid of a bad contract (Beans), it’s probably about the dumbest thing they could do.
I like Kaman as a player, but the team should be trying to deal for youth/picks while trying to keep their pick for this year (by tanking). Trading for Kaman would be stupid, which might explain why they’re thinking about doing it.
Don't see why we wouldn't do this.
At this point, shedding Biedrins contract would be ideal and give us some flexibility going forward.
I don’t see a reason why NO would pick up Biedrins contract, but if they are willing, its past time we move on from the hope of Biedrins reverting back to the player he was earlier in his career.
