Everything right now for the Warriors is looking rather gloomy, so I just wanted to open a thread for a little joy. Nothing more, just talk about whatever is happening since the Bay Area sports lately has been depressing. I'll start off with a few things

By the way, you obviously don’t like KRTY (only Bay Area country station left), but I will say one positive thing about them. I enjoy their concert series at Club Rodeo. It’s basically just a bar, and while it’s pretty poorly set up for what it is, I’d still much rather see a concert there than at HP or Shoreline or something like that. I really enjoy seeing some of the smaller names in such a smaller venue – got tickets for David Nail coming up, and I’m really excited. Saw him at a similar venue in Philly (but a way better version), and he puts on a pretty rocking show, so definitely looking forward to it.

His 2nd album was all about weed.
It was cool to listen to but it’s not something i consider to be a work of art. I mean, Ghost is one of my favorite songs but that’s because its weird as hell and puts me in some different mood. It’s not great lyricism or something I’d listen to for a story.

Cudi isn’t really a rapper if you look at his full works. Most of his songs I can’t consider rap so lyricism isn’t really a priority with it. And I disagree that it’s all about weed

The second album was about his self as is all his music. And it’s not trash, I love it. And who cares if we may be lonely stoners? Whats your point? That people must always follow a massive crowd? And I’m sorry , anyone who listen to Young money or Taylor Gang has no place in calling people dumb. Most of Cudi’s song are truly just about his life for better or worse, sad or happy. Young Money and Taylor gang talk about money,women, swag, money, being rich, fake love stories and lies for the sake for sales.
Also in S2ML , the rest of the chorus goes I’ve got some issues nobody can see and all of these emotions are pouring out of me. I bring them to the light for you, it’s only right this is, the soundtrack to my life. He’s talking about himself and what he goes through and makes songs about it. What is wrong with that?

not a stoner, not lonely
Adele- was the best voices you’ll hear in your lifetime
She does sound fine. Other sweet pop voices I’ve noticed over the years are early Joan Baez, Joan Armatrading, and probably my fav.Sinead O’conner.
The opera and gospel voices are a whole nother game and I’ve noticed back up singers often sound better than the stars :>)

The regular season is just about to finish and I’m currently first in the NBA but I really need to upgrade this year. With Diaw, Douglas, Tony Allen, Keith Bogans, and Maxiell coming off the books and CP3 “looking to test the market”, my dream would be to sign CP3, resign Tony Allen, and draft a 4 and a 5. With that, my team’s going to be sooooo raw.

first it was taj gibson and joakim noah to me for monta, and 2012 and 2013 1st rounders.
then i flipped taj and biedrins and 2 second rounders for thaddeus young and jodie meeks.
then i traded dominic mcguire and jodie meeks for timofey mozgov.
then i traded nate the great and kwame for tristan thompson
then i traded tristan thompson, dorell, and rush for demar derozan, linas kleiza, and solomon alabi

Is the association like a fantasy league with other online players? Does it affect you if you don’t play as frequent as people in your league?
I’m a working man/husband/dad tough to play as much as other people. If I had the time, I am convinced I would be #1 on blitz. I am 11-1 vs. top 10 players. On my one loss, I did a rematch and destroyed him.
Music= Anything J.cole puts out. That dude is, without question, my favorite and i love showin people his songs because they always end up likin it.

(D Green has a rediculous 6 yr 22mil contract that im gonna try to push to a CPU team lol) waived Kwame and signed Brad Miller, Nazr Mohammed and Thabeet all for the minimum. Heading into the offseason with nearly 21 Mil in cap space.. gonna push HARD for Bynum, Howard, or K Love..
