What is going on?
Honestly, I've been a huge Warriors fan for about ten years now, and other than the 2006 and 2007 seasons, this was the most excited I've been for a Warriors season. However, after beating the Bulls and Knicks in successive nights, our Dubs have dropped 3 straight in winnable games vs. Philadelphia, Phoenix, and most recently, San Antonio. Steph Curry is hurt for like the third time in less than two weeks, and at this point I am honestly starting to wonder, what on earth is going on? It might be too early to start worrying, but honestly, in these past three games, we haven't been looking good at all. And instead of making an actual splash in free agency, we end up signing Kwame Brown, and most recently Nate Robinson. Maybe I'm just over reacting, but after you get beaten by a Manu-less San Antonio, things don't seem too good. Do any of you guys know what is going on?

i’ve just started to become a warriors fan since ‘05, more of a 49ers and SF Giants fan, but yeah i feel your pain. tired of the losing culture whew for 18 years, thats too long and more props to you for being so patient, i’ve only been watching the W’s for 6 years and I’m getting super impatient.

I'm still positive about the team.
The Warriors looked very good against San Antonio. They’ll eventually learn how to keep their composure and how to not relax so much when they have a lead. All I’m hoping right now is that they stay healthy so we can start winning games again.

I see Klay Thompson eventually stepping his game up, too.
That’ll be a big help for this team.

Klay Thompson
is really good. Yeah it takes some time. Stephen Curry was not very good at all in the first half of his rookie season, but after the all star break, he was amazing.

the obvious is going on. Binky is hurt and we don’t have the talent to consistently win without him or someone equal to him.

it goes beyond just Steph
on a team lacking a ton of talent, the Dubs NEED to have everyone perform at a high level. Right now, I think our biggest problem is consistency.
if Steph doesn’t roll his ankle we win this game.
Same goes for DWright not having a horrible game

What is going on
We are still recovering from the Cohan era. Never been what I would call a “well-managed” team, but we expended a bunch of resources over the past few years and don’t seem to have much of a long-term plan other than trying like the dickens to get the best players we can

So so true about Cohan.
Cohan cheap-skated this franchise into NBA oblivion and it’s going to take a miracle or 15 years to get the stink off.
The W’s reputation around the league is pretty much Chernobyl – AVOID AT ALL COSTS. We finally have basketball-oriented owners with deep pockets, a new coach, a new front office and STILL we can’t get a worthy free agent to sign.
Cohan will go down in legend as the most dislikeable, most despised, cantakerous, litigious, greedy cheepskate in the history of pro sports. Well, at least in the Bay Area Cohan will never be forgotten for what he did to this franchise. If i were his kid, I’d change my last name, get plastic surgery and move to another state.
And the fans… the wonderful, loyal, loud fans continue to represent. Somebody should be flogged for fucking this market and this franchise up so badly.

What's going on?
Simple.
We don’t have that much talent, and the talent we do have has been injured and/or not playing up to it’s potential.
Partially agree
Injuries and some player/potential issues (DW and KT). If either comes around and both ME and SC on floor, we’re good. But given the lack of scoring potential on the bench, we’ll see only flashes of competency. I think the combo-guard approach MJ is using with SC and ME is working very well, but between injuries and foul trouble, SC hasn’t been on the floor enough. Not sure that he’s critical from a PG perspective, but his perimeter shooting is absolutely essential given the current options provided by the small forward and backup guards.
